I met my hubby or I guess I should say the first time I saw him, was when I was working as a shift manager for McDonald's and he came in to see one of my co-workers. He used to travel from So. Utah to L.A. every week and he came in to tell her he was leaving so she could watch his apt. since she lived next door. I thought he was cute and he had a motorcycle *swoon* At this time, I was seperated from my 1st husband and not really looking, but he DID catch my eye!! So she invited me over for a block barbeque and she introduced us. So, we just "hung out" until my divorce was final and when it was...LOOK OUT! Of course..we broke up for a while...then got back together and thats when we got married.

Is there such a thing?? A few of you know I am dealing with hyperthyroidism (yeah, the diagnosis is final: Grave's disease..more on that later) and the thyroid helps regulate your hormones and my hormones are IN THE TOILET!!! So, is there a female "viagra"?? My poor hubby says he's gonna burst!

who has hyperthyroidism?? I"m sorry. Its been so long since I've been here due to work, etc. that I forgot who it was?? My diagnosis FINALLY is official (after 3 months and losing 22 pounds and GOBS of hair), its hyperthyroidism and I have a thyroid ultrasound scheduled for this Friday to see if its irregular or if I have nodules (lumps). Please reply! And anyone else can reply with whatever they want if they read this...LOL. *waves at all the old regulars and the newbies since I last was here*

I've had this problem since High School. I know its not urine, because after my car accident, they did urine output tests on me to make sure there wasn't damage to the ureter/urethra from my pelvic fractures.

Yep, we do go out without the other. In fact, he's SENDING me to a party in an extravagant club atop one of the local casinos for....get this: A party for PLAYGIRL models. Ahhh...Grave's disease. I'm sure I'll be hearing a lot about that in the next little while since I know its a form of hyperthyroidism. I just really want to get this done but the timeline looks like it will be at least 6 months because I"d like to build up some vacation time as well as medical leave before I get it done. Thanks for all the great advice!! (mind if I hit you up for thyroid advice later?)

I shave...and LOVE IT!! That whole medical "issue" is bogus for me. I was getting yeast infections from the hair holding the moisture IN. I haven't had one since I shaved it all off!! Hubby is another issue...he'll trim but shave....HELL NO was his reply to that request!!

Not to go into deep details, but it would be best for me to get fixed. I don't want the risk of getting pregnant again due to health issues, both on my and his parts.
