Sorry, but that DID make me giggle a little on the inside. Anyhow, congrats on your guy! I hope it all goes well for you. I think it's great that you're beginning your prep now! That way, you are afforded the time for hair to grow back so you CAN try new styles out and whatnot. I'm supposed to meet up with "Sir" in a few days and have begun my own prep, so I feel I can relate to you. He and I had that conversation mentioned previously long enough ago that I had decided to go on ahead and just shave it all off to give my body time to adjust. Well, that was my first time (I used to keep it just well trimmed), and my skin was NOT happy! So, I let it grow for about a couple of weeks and went and got it waxed two days ago. Brazilian. That, too, being a first for me. I can proudly say, though, that I neither screamed, cursed, nor cried. How I managed that? I have no idea. Someone on here had said "Just grin and bear it," and that's precisely what I did. About that...Yeah, I went and got it done professionally. I don't think my soreness (or tenderness) really had anything to do with the temp of the wax as much as my skin just being like, "WTF?" afterwards. The--technician?--had warned me that it might feel similar to a sunburn the first day. Apparently, I must have been a little extra sensitive there since my "sunburn" sensation lasted longer than expected. But, it was also my first wax South of the border, so I'm really not that surprised or overly concerned; that's why I got it done a week before my trip. Oh, and I'm happy to report a 100% recovery! Defilitely nothing like freshly shaven on both partners...... When in a relationship (like now) I keep it trimmed. It makes me feel cleaner and less self aware. I like my partner to be trimmed as well because when she isn't trimmed it makes it harder to reach her clit (which small) and the hair gets caught in my teeth (not fun). Now, on my hubby, this has been an ongoing issue with us for years...He used to just let it all go, but lately I have noticed he has at least been keeping it trimmed for me.
