Honey, PLEASE! You know I have seen your picture, and you are far from ugly! Trust me! I'm sure it hurt at the time, and still does. But you have to let it go - or talk to him. You are married, and should be able to talk about it. I'm sure he meant nothing by it, as you said already. Sex can make us very vulnerable. But don't let it get you down. I know what you mean. I don't look so much like I did when we first got together, before baby and a year of breast-feeding. He still loves the way I look anyway, at least he says he does. I get very self-conscious, too. However, it is something we all have to get over and let go of. Something probably just tickled him at the moment - nothing to do with you in a negative way. I'm sorry this happened - I would probably feel something like you do - but I would say something. Men can sometimes be stupid or immature - most of them can't help it - sorry guys. Keep your head up!

That is great news! I know what it means to have a great doc. Mine wrote off a $963 bill that was charged to me for an IUD when she realized I no longer had the insurance that I previously had when I was pregnant. This situation really is unfortunate... Sorry to hear this. I agree with everyone who posted before - encourage her some more to take a look. Who knows, she may claim to be against it, but really just be a bit embarrassed or mislead. She may look into the site when you aren't aware. Surely if she does, she will have a change of heart. I also have to agree that you shouldn't have to give up something that she won't even look into to see if she is truly against. It is judgemental, IMO. When I disagree with my husband, I know what I am disagreeing with... Good luck with this, and let us know what happens.

OK, I have taken Paxil a few times, as well as many other anti-depressants. They almost ALWAYS lead to loss of libido! Trust me! It really sucks he was treated this wasy by a doc. Sorry for this! But reamember, this doc is not the "be all end all" of doctors - it IS hard to find a good one!! Again, TRUST me!! You did the right thing by making another appt. with another doc! Good for you two! Get the second opinion. I would only fill the script if he is actually depressed - not for a long-shot side-affect - I have never heard of this... Sounds to me like he saw a quack! Good luck with this, and make sure he sees someone else.
