I have a couple of questions to ask. First, I'm new at this web site. A friend got me into this the other day. I ordered the Devil's Delight and the Beaded Anal Vibrator. A few things... first off, make sure you wash the toy with soap and water (antibacterial is good) before you use it! Most anal toys do have a retrieval cord or similar so I wouldn't worry too much. The only way your doctor will know is if you tell him/her. There is no shame in exploring your sexuality!! It is healthy and natural!!

OK, firstly WELCOME! To avoid infections follow the simple hygenic rules: always wash your toy with HOT water and antibacterial soap first and DRY. Store in a clean, dry place and make sure to wash AFTER and BEFORE each use. Make sure you use the proper lubes (water-based goes with everything, silicone only with NON-silicone or NON-cyberskin toys). Make sure that YOU are clean when playing. You can play during your 'monthly cycle' but be extra careful when you do so. Make sure you pee before playing (just like before sex) as well as after playing.

You can injure your insides if you play too rougly or don't pay attention to your toys. Make sure they are clean and don't have any tears, rips or holes in them. Always be mindful of your body, if something hurts, then stop playing. Your doctor won't know if you are using sex toys unless you are a virgin, then he/she would know you broke your hymen if you are using insertion. Only use toys appropriate for anal play when you play anally. Anal toys are specially designed to be the right size / length for anal play and have retrieval cords. You CAN loose a toy in your anal canal if you are not careful. It is much harder to loose one in the vagina, unless you are using a mini-toy and push it ALL the way up. The chances of this happening are so rare.
