Tyger
So, because this topic is in the Contest area, and we can't post in it, I thought I'd repost this topic here. Do you think watching porn is cheating? Watching porn by yourself in a committed relationship, without your SO knowing, do you consider this cheating? What if your SO told you that they didn't want you watching it without them, but they were into it when you were together, would you consider watching some then cheating?
Members RC4BLUE
Cheating? I guess that depends on your definition of cheating. Personally if my partner is watching porn whether I know or not is not cheating. I believe that sexuality is a personal thing. If my partner want to view porn and enjoys watching sexual material then good. It means that my partner is sexual and has sexual interest. I would rather my partner be sexual than not. I would be disappointed if my partner said to me that watching porn was cheating. In my relationship I would hope that we would have had conversations about porn and sexuality before ever getting to someone accusing the other of cheat because of looking at porn.
Review Team PlayfulKitty Posted April 26, 2016 Review Team Report Share Posted April 26, 2016 Hmm.. This one is close to home for me.. I'm not going to say it's as much cheating that bothers me it's what porn can do to a person that's what bothers me. I mean I have watched porn and yea it totally gets me hot, however I feel like there are men and probably women who lose control. When my SO begins to prefer porn over reality it becomes cheating in my eyes. I mean everyone on here no doubt in my mind has heard of porn addiction, and I personally believe this is a real thing. Sure every once in a while watch it together get things spicy cool, but yea when it begins to interfere with real intimacy and real physical sex in a relationship and even making your SO feel like they don't measure up to the standards of a porn star I think then it's cheating and then your hurting each other. Just my opinion though
Members RC4BLUE
I do not want to get into a debate over addiction to porn. I only ask that before making a statement about addiction, please look at the research. Yes people can be compulsive (with anything) and when that negatively affects other parts of life or relationships it is a problem. And then the problem needs to be addressed. Anything that interferes with intimacy, and real physical sex or other parts of our relationships is a negative. Personally I just don't like how loosely the word addiction is used in describing anything that is considered a problem.
Members michelleddd
Addiction aside...... cause that's a whole other issue. IMO porn isn't cheating and I don't have a problem with it UNLESS it is affecting the amount of couple sex in your relationship. It's still not cheating but needs to be addressed. If you feel you don't measure up somehow to porn women that's your issue not his.
Members krisleightate
Porn. It depends on the couple. If one person in the couple thinks it is cheating then their partner shouldn't watch it. I don't see it as cheating at all.
Review Team l8niter Posted May 9, 2016 Review Team Report Share Posted May 9, 2016 I don't think watching porn with or without my GF if cheating , to me cheating would have to be having physical contact with another person, IE, touching of breasts, pussy and ass, or any kind of penetration. Members krisleightate
So you don't believe in emotional cheating? While I don't see porn as cheating some do, but I do believe there are more forms of cheating than just sexual acts. If you are allowing someone other than your partner have those parts of yourself that are supposed to be for your partner, physically and emotionally, you are cheating in my book.
Members square
Is watching porn cheating? Not in my rule book. And especially since it was my wife who initially clued me in to where the internet porn sites were. If I were with a different girl who thought viewing porn was cheating, I dunno. I still don't think I would think it was cheating, but I'd probably hide it if I ever watched it.

I been saying the last 30+years were it NOT for porn I would be in solitary confinement somewhere wearing a rubber jacket.... No I AIN'T KIDDING !!!!!!!! Last year I met a gal over at FetLife. She's a kinky little number and the next morning after we woke up together during our (what I call pillow talk) chatting she says "what would you say to a FWB type deal?" Wow talk about throw me for a loop?!? I had been thinking did I fuck her goot enuf the night b4 well boys and girls her asking me this SEALED THE DEAL in my book!!!!! Yer damn skippy I told her and we kissed like teenagers while I hugged the stuffing out of her. So now for the very first time in my life I have a piece of tail I can call anytime and arrange a rendezvous for some kinky hot sex. What I consider cheating is if you CAN'T TELL your honey pie about it if she asks and give her AN HONEST ANSWER then it is cheating. Even if it's just a BJ like our old friend William Jefferson ***I did not have sexual relations with that young woman*** CLINTON said so many years ago. Sumpin else: even if it's just a BJ on the fly while having a beer with your buds I consider that as cheating and I'd feel guilty as sin and it wood bother me till I told her or she fingered it out. Slightly Off Topic... Yo RC4Blue...does the RC stand for Remote Control toys like planes ships tanks bulldozers and the like??? Just curious yellow here.

Members Bluetooth
It's not cheating, sometimes when you feel you need to release the stress or heat out of your body, and your partner not present, you needed this. It's more reasonable than to hook someone and share your lust.
Members H. Housewife
Definitely not cheating I rather have my husband watch porn than have sex with another woman. I'm really picky I wish the guys were better looking in porn. If they'd look anything like Jason Mamoa or Dylan that would be so hot❤?
Members Wisconsin Cougar
It is definitely not cheating, for 30 years my husband has either masterbated to hustler magazine and since the internet he watches porn. He is not shy about it. Seeing in front of the computer naked and jacking off his boner makes me all wet.

I love porn, it don't matter if it's a man and woman, woman and woman or man and man. The women seem to look best in lesbian porn and the men are super fine in gay porn. It's never made me take attention away from my wife. It's not cheating if your spouse is coming first. It is if your spouse is last and the porn is first. 1

Newbie DisgracefulLady Posted October 26, 2018 Newbie Report Share Posted October 26, 2018 I watch a lot of porn, sometimes with my husband and sometimes alone. I have a good sex life with him but I often want to look at something out of the ordinary. Unfortunately there isn't much online that satisfies the need, so we end up experimenting together.
Members Bob Long
I know this is an old topic but what the fuck, thats totally ridiculous what if you watch it together as the wife and I d and I've done with many girlfriends in the past. One actually joked and said she thought I watched porn as an instructional tool whihc may have had more truth to it than I realized. I was ver addicted to it where I would rather watch porn than have sex thats when you have a problem. Wife and I enjoy it and incorporated some things we saw into our own home porn videos. If someone has a hangup about their partner watching porn while they are not around then they are not in a very secure relationship and have trust issues or maybe even deeper routed issue. Shit some of those guys have a cock down to their knee am I supposed to get pissed because my wife enjoys that, it would be pretty hypocritical of me. Sorry not that shallow
Members Juan
Wife and i both love watching porn together, she saw her 1st movie when we first got married. John Holmes and Marilyn Chambers in Insatiable. I know old movie LOL so are we! Anyways a GREAT movie after seeing his tool she instantly became a big cock fan! STILL looking for another to make her dp fantasy "cum" true. We never think of it as cheating... i give her the "go ahead" and she to me likewise. We don't mind eachother watching them alone, because we feel it helps our sexuality! ALSO love to watch eachother masterbate when we watch them together.

Funny that this just popped up I had a girlfriend who used to get together with some of here girlfriends once a month at each others places and sit around and drink wine and watch gay male porn. She wasn't bi or had no interest but all of them were attracted to gay porn. She used to watch pron with me not gay but straight and although she enjoyed it she said it made her feel inadequate. She was pretty and an outrageous partner but didn't have that female porn star body. Until she mentioned that I had never even given that a thought. So in fairness we would watch gay male porn once in a while (kind of strange for me but she would willingly reciprocate by watching lesbian porn which didn't do much for her but she said she liked some of the straight porn because it gave her new ideas.
Newbie Rodney Posted April 21, 2019 Newbie Report Share Posted April 21, 2019 Porn-cheating no I sometimes watch two three nights a week most of the time with my wife of 33 years! Porn gets us both ready to fuck all night!!
Members Mark7even
I believe there's a fine line between cheating when it comes to porn. If in fact you are fantasizing about being with the porn star or person in the video then Yes you are most likely cheating in the heart. For me when I watch other people have sex im always thinking that would be awesome to do with the wife. She is always centered on my mind and desires. Some will say I'm full of shit but that is how I see it, it is the only reason I ever watch anything. I'm a sex addict and my wife is not so this is what I do to compensate for our lack of unity in the marriage bed. Maybe I'm fooling myself but this is what I believe. I love watching people get off and it always makes me think of us, how it could be. I don't watch mainstream porn anymore because to many women are abused but I do love to watch the amature home videos they are real and their doing it because they want to and enjoy it. Anyway thats my take on it.
Members Amy D
I don't think it's cheating at all. But it suggests to me that I might not be giving my partner something he needs sexually. I would definitely talk with him and find out what that was. More sex? A different type of sex? I would try to make it a learning experience that would make our relationship stronger.
