Pictures

Hello again wow I am on a roll here posting for my first day LOL. I was just searching all the good and interesting parts this site has to offer and in reading some of the bios I see there are a few advanced memebers here as well as regular. Have you ever shared pictures? Not talking dirty ones mind you just simple one to match face with name.....or do you all find it better to have each person you talk to here made up one way in your mind? Just curious didnt know if pics are posted here or ever were.

I'm not sure if there are any specific rules about pictures being posted here. I do know that in my short-ish time here, there have been some posted, but not many.

I'm guessing (not meaning to put words in anyone's mouth) that most people wouldn't post pictures. The nature of this forum is for people to be able to comfortably ask questions they may be very shy/timid to ask normally. The ability to be anonymous and still be educated was a big plus for me when I first came here.

I'm sure there will be others who answer a variety of answers for you. That's just my two cents.

For some people, posting a picture here is a risky proposition! We have lawyers, law-students (like myself), teachers, business people - so, having a picture posted in the public domain can be an issue if you think about it.

For example, my Avatar picture is me - but it is me from 8 years ago now. It is not a frontal picture, and I don't look much like that anymore - but it is representational of me. That is what I was comfortable with.

There aren't any rules about pics - one girl did post quite a few pics of herself. She was comfortable doing it. If you want to - go ahead - that is most definitely your perocative. I wouldn't suggest clogging the forum with pictures though, this is for information mostly!

Thanks for answering. I guess once I log on more often and read and post more I will get the gist of this site better. After it was pointed out about reasons why pics maybe used here I can fully understand......I really didnt think about peoples jobs etc......thought more of it like once everyone got to know eachother were pics shared.

Anyway I believe it was Mikayla (sorry if im wrong on that) that said her pic is her avatar. That is a cool pic and i was going to ask if it was a real photo or not but didnt want to seem to forward for my first day. Dont get me wrong im not bi or anything but that pic is how can i say.....daring but without showing to much. Bet all the guys go ga ga over that pic (maybe gals too) anyway just wanted to say cool pic and I bet you didnt change as much as you think in 8 yrs. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks Hotnhrny for the compliment on the photo.

I had a friend who was trying to break into photography (actually now he is an established photographer) and he wanted to take some for his portfolio. So, that is one of a few that he took. I like it, I do find it erotic. I get a lot of responses on it.

As for how much I have changed. Well, after a baby, aging, etc. things have changed more than I would like - but I do have the photos to remind me of my "hot model" days!
