You can’t use silicone lubes with silicone toys, and water based lubes immediately wash off in the shower, so what can you use that will stay on? Are these people just not turning the water on? Since water-based lubes are what's recommended for silicone toys, and also, water-based lubes dry up faster (because they're water, and evaporate and are absorbed by the body). Plus, different lubes work differently for each individual, as far as preferences. It's a lot to keep up with!! LOL I would recommend, unfortunately, to try out different ones.....it will be hard work (pun intended), and lots and lots of studying!!!! Newbie daveluca Posted March 2, 2019 Newbie Report Share Posted March 2, 2019 silicone toy debacle; which may include some of the Copyright names you see "platinum grade" for example or the generic terms like medical grade or food grade, if they knew that their manufacturer could or would make it with the exact precision every time we wouldn't be having this conversation. You can use silicone toys with silicone lube but both need to be of great quality and be 100% silicone ( obviously the lube would have other ingredients but nothing that would be chemically altering). They cannot have one batch fail and ruin the lube or the toys so they tell us not to use it. There is silicone toys that specifically say you can use one type of silicone lube because they have this dialed in and whoever is manufacturing it takes care to do so and doesn't mix batches in the vats. I don't chance it myself as you never know and I have spent an immense amount of money for my toy collection and wouldn't risk it. Listen to the manufacturer as they will dictate your warranty and have the last say if something goes wrong with your toy. I do know that Bad Dragons cum lube will float or move through water like real cum and it still works and is relatively cheap so if I were to recommend any type of water base lube that's where I would go. Most simple get too stiff too soon, and are like having glue for a lubricant; the rest simply dry out and stop 'lubing' things. Coconut oil - the kind you can buy at the grocery store - has become the ONLY lube I use. Oral, jerking, anal penetration, fucking...it is very comfortably slick, it is long lasting, it washes off - but not so easily or quickly that you can't fully enjoy your play, and it's toy-friendly. Oh, and unless you really despise the flavor of coconut (it really doesn't taste THAT strong with a mouthful!) it's also edible and digestible. I just used some to lube a condom that I used for my morning jerk. I started using condoms for my jerking because I'd wear my cock out by rubbing it if I didn't - I usually jerk twice-a-day or more since my wife just isn't 'into' any kind of sex any more (one time in the past nine weeks; twice in the past 13 weeks - and no sucking or eating, no rimming, and no anal play) and have to take care of me.
