Members Blush
Hmmm, sounds interesting. I've contemplated piercing my hood but several reasons keep holding me back. I should try the fake ones to see if it's something I'd really like to do. Thanks!
Members luvhim93
i am thinking non-pierced... i like it that it is that lil' secret you have that know one else knows about....i work in a hospital in the radiology dept....the MRI can be a problem for people who pierce in places where they can not take them out and put them back in.we had a lady come in with one on her hood....and she was upset...she had to choose....take it out...or risk it being ripped out because of the magnetic force...she chose to take it out....that is the down side of piercings that i seei am thinking i might just go ahead and get one......not which one do i want...hmmmm

I really don't relish the thought of being naked from the waist down in front of the tattoo/piercing guy, so...... I probably won't be getting one anytime soon. Members *Mikayla's~Man*
My wife has used the non-piercing jewelry and she had her hood pierced. I TOTALLY preferred the real piercing, I could lick it, bite it, suck it and it would not fall off. The non-piercing one was nice to look at, but once you got into the banging, it would fall off! Just my opinion of course!MM
Tyger
I don't have any, but have played with the idea. I have my navel done, and had a tongue piercing, and of course, earrings, but no clit jewelry.IF you decide on getting something a bit more permanent, I would ADAMENTLY suggest that you go to a licensed professional, with a clean studio, and make sure that they're following sterilization protocalls! Also, my piercer told me that he doesn't even DO clit piercings (he does penis, hoods, but not clit) because, like the tongue, if they pierce the wrong area, it can kill the nerves in the clit. He just didn't want to run that risk, though he was a pro, he just didn't feel right about doing it. So, make sure you go to a piercer that you are fully comfortable with, is clean, sterile, and EXPERIENCED.OK, I'll get off my soap box now. Members Meg
Tyger – you mentioned that you had your navel and tongue pierced…I, personally, think it's interesting to hear what piercings people have/had. The reactions and stereotypes that people have to the idea of different body parts being pierced are fascinating to me. I'm a BIG fan of piercings. (Rob even jokes "No more facial piercings!”) I find them sexy – on myself and on others. I have several (facial and otherwise) – some that I’ve had since I turned 18 and some that I’ve taken out over the years. Some people definitely treat me differently because my lip is pierced – older women follow me through stores, I even have a family member who told me that I was not only disrespecting myself, but HER as well because SHE had to look at it. Everyone has their own opinion. For me, my piercings are a form of self-expression. I like the way they look, I like the adrenaline rush of getting something pierced. Do I feel that I’m too old to be walking around with holes in my face? Nope! Not yet! When I was young (14 or 15) my mom took my best friend and I to a fair and they were selling “fake” nose rings – I bought one and wore it only a short time because when my mom saw it she practically ripped it out of my nostril and told me that if I EVER pierced ANYTHING I better be out of the house, of course, that didn’t happen. I turned 18 and immediately went and got a tattoo and my nose and eyebrow done!I feel that anyone who wants to do it – should! Never do it because your significant other thinks it would be sexy.Piercings are removable – but they require a lot of work to keep. Of course, you ALWAYS want to go to a licensed professional – not your best friend who has a fetish with putting sharp things through perfectly good body parts!Just my off-topic 2 cents.-MegI don't have any, but have played with the idea. Tyger
Personally, I think those that get offended by facial jewelry just because IT'S THERE, and tattoos, just cuz they're THERE needs to have the stick up their ass removed. Again, just my personal opinion.I have 2 tattoos. One on the small of my back, the other on my right upper thigh. Both of which can be shown if I so choose to do so. Otherwise, they're under my clothes, and only I know that they are there. I did them for certian symbolic feelings I had at the time I chose to do them. I also plan on getting at least 2 more done. I was 25 when I had my first body piercing, and 28 when I had my first tattoo. It was a personal choice, that I'd thought long and hard on for a couple of YEARS before embarking on some body modifications. They're not just for "biker bitches" anymore! My mother and step-mother are of the thinking that it's just wrong to do that to your body. But I say that it's your body to choose what you want to do with it. My step-mother use to get fully POed at my little half sister cuz she would dye her hair every color of the rainbow. I was the ONLY one in the family to tell them to lay off. She could be doing a helluva lot worse than dying her darn hair!!I DO think that if you're going to have something done that can be offensive by it's own right (aka a swastica, swear words, or gross/gory tattoos, that they should be put in a discreet place, where you would have to lift up some sort of clothing, to be seen. Just because I don't want to explain to my 4 yr old why a guy has the picture of a headless woman on his arm. That kind of thing. As far as piercings go, yes the clitoral hood is more popular than the clit itself being pierced. That would have NO affect on the clit's nerves (except when the jewelry hits it or rubs it). my ex had the forskin scar, near the head of the penis pierced, and he almost punched the piercer when it was done. It was ok, but I didn't see too much of an earth-shattering difference to really care.

Members pappyld04
If you do use pliers to bend your jewelery please wrap tape around the area you will use the pliers. This is to prevent any burring that may occur. Trust me you do not want a metal burr rubbing anything near these sensitive areas. My gf loved her hood piercing. When she got it she thought that it was a clit piercing that she wanted until the man explained to her that piercing this can ruin the feeling if not do damage to it. He did educate her on the proper terms and meanings and was a godsend. This was also where we bought many of our books on BDSM and other like materials. We would never have seen these if his asst. hadn't taken me by the hand and took me to them. She wanted to show me the stocks that they had for sale. She turned us on to a lot of the information that we were having difficulty finding elsewhere. My gf was even getting wet talking to her, and that doesn't happen often.
