Nice Toy, Too Big For Me

About a week after I received this anal plug to review, I realized I was putting it off because it looked frighteningly big. It’s a very nice product: attractive, pearly pink, a graceful shape. But the four and a half inch long toy is two inches across, which looked like a bit much to me.

For the sake of Too Timid forum readers, I finally got up my nerve and tried it out. With plenty of water-based lube (as this is a silicone product, you don’t want to use silicone-based lube), I was able to insert it most of the way. But the thing about anal plugs is that you have to get them in past the widest part in order for them to stay put. Then your hands are free, and you can masturbate, or touch your partner, or, I suppose, go grocery shopping and return your library books if that floats your boat. But for me, the wide part was just too wide. So I had to hold onto the flat base of the plug, using it like a poorly shaped anal dildo.

Obviously, this is no fault of the toy, which I think is really quite nice and would rate highly for someone who can take the size. It just means I need a smaller, starter anal plug. So if you, like me, are a bit tight in the ass and/or are new to anal plugs, you might want to start with something smaller. But if you’re an old pro, go for it!
