Members elizabeth
The Shimmer and Shine vibrator from Doc Johnson is a nice, basic, waterproof vibrator. Reasonably sized, it is well designed with a control dial on the front of the vibrator instead of on the base. I prefer this sort of mechanism, since with several of my old style vibrators I end up unscrewing the base whenever I turn the toy on or off. As for appearances, the Shimmer and Shine is pink. Very pink. It has subtle purple undertones, and a nice almost metallic finish, but basically it is a shiny pink bullet. This would be the perfect toy for a girly girl who doesn't like her toys to look realistic. Its simple silhouette is streamlined for easy insertion, and its smooth exterior requires very little lube. Despite only taking one AA battery, the vibrations on "high" are actually quite strong. The "low" setting is far more subtle, but has an interesting jittery feel. There's a slight inconsistency in the vibration that makes it more enjoyable than you'd expect given the relatively low magnitude of the force.Somewhat shockingly, the pink champagne Shimmer Lube that comes with the Shimmer and Shine is actually, dare I say it, tasty. I'm not, in general, a fan of flavored lubes, but this one is actually pleasant when you get it in your mouth. It's not sickly sweet, or terribly strongly flavored, and it's actually the only flavored lube I've ever tried that I'd be willing to intentionally lick. It's not terribly shimmery, but I don't consider that a disadvantage, since I personally find sparkly private parts to be more distracting than stimulating. All in all, this combination package of vibrator and lube would be an excellent choice for someone's first sex toy purchase. It's not intimidating, and has everything you need for hours of vibrating fun. The Shimmer and Shine is a nice choice for anyone who wants a good, solid, entry-level (I had to say it!) vibrator, or who wants to add a basic waterproof vibe to their collection. Members suebebe
it looks like the same metallic looking plastic that the current freebie is made of. i ordered last month (i think) and it's really pretty and shiny i like the pretty, shiny stuff --- now, if only there were some rhinestones!! Members froggystyle1977
I was excited to try this vibe. Having a dial on the side rather then the bottom seems like such a great idea, since many times with previous vibes I have shut them off while trying to get it on the perfect setting. Sadly this feature was not anything like I had hoped. Turned out to be a set it and forget it type of toy. It was very difficult for me to work the dial while in play. I like that this vibe is so small being 6” total length, and only about 1” in diameter. Having multiple speeds and being waterproof makes it perfect for a first vibe or for those who don’t need strong vibrations. This vibe is very quiet having a sleeve inside that holds the one AA battery in place. The champagne lube that comes with this vibe has a nice sweet taste, its very slick at first but being water based doesn’t last too long. The bottle though was quite hard to squeeze so it was difficult to get the lube to come out. SHIMMER AND SHINE

Interesting info about the lube..I don't like flavored ones eithr...they seem more tacky (sticky) to me, but this one sounds like it's worth a try, Can you get it separately?
