Members LoveGoddess
Essence Pure Energy VibeThe instructions looked easy but the twisting arrow sign was misleading. After spinning the device in circles for about a minute, I tried gently tugging-no luck. Eventually I discovered it pops open if you hold the base firmly in one hand and pull the top part down as if you are peeling a banana. One AA battery later and it was humming away-Almost.Here's how the Essence works. Under the "on" label there is a 1/4" wide strip of metal. When you twist the top this metal will contact an 1/8" metal tab on the bottom. Once contact is made the electrical path is complete. However, turn it too far one way or the other, or accidently bend the tab away from the edge, and it will not vibrate. It doesn't take much to move it off either. As my thighs tightened with the first wave of my orgasm it shut off! No kidding! Mid-"O"! Talk about frustrating. And it happened several times. To turn it off (on purpose) you have to twist both halves-tough when all lubed up. Not a plus for me, but some people prefer this twisting mechanism to a button, dial, or cord. On the positive side it is waterproof and the vibrations stayed strong completely submerged in the hot tub.The Essence is slightly under 1 1/2" wide at its thickest part and is only 5" long. Nice travel size. I liked the ribbed base as it allowed a firm grip for deeper penetration when looking for the G-spot with its slightly curved tip. It is a hard plastic which gets slick and slippery easily, especially with a little lube (use silicone lube for the tub or shower for long lasting waterproof fun). There is only one speed, but on the soft flexible patch of nubby material, the vibrations are absorbed slightly. If you are looking for a quick strong vibe for the clit, use the hard convex back side of the device, the vibrations are stronger and get right to the point. For a strong waterproof toy, the Essence does get the job done quick. But with all the technical glitches it was a little disappointing. Members ToyQueen
http://shop.tootimid.com/index.asp?PageAct...amp;ProdID=5011I have to tell you that when I pulled this little vibe out of my box, I was skeptical. But I am a believer in Pure Energy now! This toy is about 5 inches long, and takes 1 AA battery. I tried twisting and turning to get it apart to put the battery in, to no avail. I finally found that pulling hard with a downward motion, like peeling a banana, got it open right away, and the battery was quick to insert. It twists to turn on, but it will continue to twist, and turn off if you aren't careful. I didn't think it was overly loud, and, in putting this little vibrating toy in my hand, I wasn't sure it was very strong. So, after applying some TooTimid lube, I put this cute pink toy against my clit. Oh, yeah!!! It took about 2 minutes for me to be in orgasm heaven! I wasn't able to find my g-spot with it, but I am still working on that, so someone else might have better luck. It is curved for that purpose.Over all, I believe that this pink beauty is a great clit stimulator, and it will stay at the top of my toy box for a long time!!!
