Members chloegirl
Have any of you other 40ish ladies found this to be the case also...It seems that my sex drive has gone into hyper-drive in the last few years... Absolutely cannot get enough and am game for anything and everything. Unfortunately hubby has never been a particularly studley type of guy (although a very good guy) and these days his interest, abilities fall far short regardless of Viagra and all the hot, new, intense things I introduce into playtime... Oh he enjoys it well enough and for him he's trying...unfortunately I'm at a point where I need and want more, so needless to say I am spending an inordinate amount of time (up to 3 times per day) with my toys, movies, and erotic literature. Isn't it a shame that when we hit out hottest peak we're kind of out there alone! Oh well, thank god for toys and good fantasy!

Members Mikayla1
This is a biological phenomenon....as women get older, they get more horny. THe peak is in the 40's usually, but can go on well into the 50s. Enjoy it while it lasts!!! Really, there is no reason why you should ever give it up... Members OPL Laundry Goddess
yes, yes, and yes...I noticed that my interest in sex went up tremendously after the birth of our last child and hubby got the big V. Maybe I just finally felt "safe" to enjoy sex for the pleasure without considering the procreative nature of the act. Within a few years after that, I began really enjoying all of the details and intricacies and sensations. I learned more about my body and what really turns me on. We bought our first toys, I began loosening my grasp on preconceived notions of propriety, and really having honest dialogue with hubby about what we wanted and needed in our lives.By the time I hit 37, I would have finally considered myself a sexual creature. I began exploring all those carnal desires as they came to me. I just always figured I was a late bloomer, finally enjoying what people are supposed to experience in those radical 20s. Of course, I do realize the hormonal fluxes have a lot to do with it, and being in a personal place of growth that allowed me to be able to care for myself above the opinions of others. Now that I am pushing 40 I'm someone totally different than I was six years ago. I know what I like, I know who I am, and I am willing to speak my mind. Its a very liberating and aroused place to be. Cheers to our fourties!~the laundry goddess
Members jad20fan
I completely understand!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm 46 and until recently, was a virgin. My sexual desires had been growing and growing and growning until I couldn't contain them any longer. Toys and masterbation are wonderful but recently, they weren't filling the bill. I hope this hyper-drive sex drive continues for several more years. I intend to enjoy it!!!!I've always been a gal that wanted to only be with a man. With the increased sex-drive comes the desire to try other things...being with a woman and doing threesomes. Not sure if I'll explore those options or not but the desires are there. I think he's glad I want a GF though. lolNymph;)Hey,I am in my middle 50's and have found that my sex drive has exploded in the last year. Of course my husband has always had a very high sex drive, so I am actually closer to his for the first time ever. It is a shame that it took so long to kick in LOL
Members ToyQueen
I have a much higher sex drive now than I used to. Thus the large number of toys. With no partner, toys have to suffice...
