Members DixieChick67
I am just getting off my menstural cycle and my nipples hurt so bad. They usually hurt during it for a while, but the pain goes away. I was in the shower and washing my chest and stomach and when the water hit my nipples it really hurt. They are staying hard too. Is there anything I can do for some relief?
Members DixieChick67
Has this always been so? The first thing that comes to mind is your age, you may be peri-menopausal, and therefore, a hormonal issue could be present...at any rate, I am not a doctor; you should consult your doctor if this persists.Oh, I already know I'm peri-menopausal, just the pain has been a little more intense this time. Just curious if there is anything I can do at home to help relieve some of the pain/hardness of the nipples. I bought a new bra recently and maybe part of my problem is adjusting to the new bra. My LD boyfriend would offer to massage them for me!
Members Desires08
I would suggest keeping a written journal of the pain. Times of day. Intensity of pain and any other symptoms. Set an appt. with your gynecologist to discuss this. He/She would know more than anyone what to do.
