LADIES I THOUGHT SOME OF YOU MIGHT LIKE THIS IDEA!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

introNo sew fitted T-shirt, so kNotty!Ever get sick of having x-large t-shirts when you're actually a medium/small size?

Want a cheap way to make a 99cent T-shirt seem fitted?

All you need is a scissors and a cheap T-shirt, and you can show off! loading2.gif375x500 : FDR6YXJ5G2EQEC1CV1 (0)i InstructJS.load(['instruct','imagespot'], function () {var spotspot181937 = new ImageSpot( 'spot181937', { loadID: 'FDR6YXJ5G2EQEC1CV1', loadIMG: 'http://www.instructables.com/files/deriv/FDR/6YXJ/5G2EQEC1CV1/FDR6YXJ5G2EQEC1CV1.MEDIUM.jpg', editimagedata: 'false', imageDataEditorPlace: 'null', showInfo: true, size: 'MEDIUM' } ); new ImageInfo( spotspot181937, {"imageID":"FDR6YXJ5G2EQEC1CV1","name":"dynamite.jpg","imageURL":"http://www.instructables.com/files/deriv/FDR/6YXJ/5G2EQEC1CV1/FDR6YXJ5G2EQEC1CV1.MEDIUM.jpg","showURL":"/file/FDR6YXJ5G2EQEC1CV1/","description":null,"length":1265081,"width":960,"height":1280} );new ImageInfo( spotspot181937, {"imageID":"FC5H5Q72ETEQEC1CXB","name":"folded02.jpg","imageURL":"http://www.instructables.com/files/deriv/FC5/H5Q7/2ETEQEC1CXB/FC5H5Q72ETEQEC1CXB.MEDIUM.jpg","showURL":"/file/FC5H5Q72ETEQEC1CXB/","description":null,"length":116300,"width":800,"height":800} );new ImageInfo( spotspot181937, {"imageID":"FH6T6J1MQUEQEC1CYG","name":"folded03.jpg","imageURL":"http://www.instructables.com/files/deriv/FH6/T6J1/MQUEQEC1CYG/FH6T6J1MQUEQEC1CYG.MEDIUM.jpg","showURL":"/file/FH6T6J1MQUEQEC1CYG/","description":null,"length":134390,"width":800,"height":800} ); InstructJS.cachedRefs.spotspot181937=spotspot181937; }); FC5H5Q72ETEQEC1CXB.THUMB.jpgFH6T6J1MQUEQEC1CYG.THUMB.jpg InstructJS.load(['imagespot'], function () { var spot = ImageSpots.get('spot181937'); if (spot) spot.img.alt = 'dynamite.jpg '+' '+'sew%2C+no%2C+tighter+fitting%2C+shirt+alteration'; $("imgThumb_FDR6YXJ5G2EQEC1CV1").observe("click", function() { ImageSpots.show( 'spot181937', 'FDR6YXJ5G2EQEC1CV1' ); ImageSpots.get('spot181937').img.alt ='dynamite.jpgsew%2C+no%2C+tighter+fitting%2C+shirt+alteration'; }); $("imgThumb_FC5H5Q72ETEQEC1CXB").observe("click", function() { ImageSpots.show( 'spot181937', 'FC5H5Q72ETEQEC1CXB' ); ImageSpots.get('spot181937').img.alt ='folded02.jpgsew%2C+no%2C+tighter+fitting%2C+shirt+alteration'; }); $("imgThumb_FH6T6J1MQUEQEC1CYG").observe("click", function() { ImageSpots.show( 'spot181937', 'FH6T6J1MQUEQEC1CYG' ); ImageSpots.get('spot181937').img.alt ='folded03.jpgsew%2C+no%2C+tighter+fitting%2C+shirt+alteration'; }); }); step 1Fold your shirts in half You'll need two shirts, the one that's too big, and one that fits.

Fold both of them in half.

Carefully match up the tops of the sleeves and the centerlines, keeping them individually folded and with the smaller one placed on top of the other.

Start cutting the shirt in strips up to the point where the other shirt starts.

Feel free to change the width of the strips, keeping in mind that the thicker the strip, the larger might be the hole where you'll be knotting.

The pattern I used here makes for a "kimono" styled open armpit.

You might want to experiment.

I opted to keep some untied for an easier fit.

It's done! Enjoy! ;)
