  1. Bgirl, don't panic just yet. The generic of Viagra is available on the market, so that may reduce your cost somewhat. It's also possible that you can split a 100mg tablet into 4-25mg doses or 2-50mg doses. You also mentioned that he is able to get an erection, but not maintain it. Have you considered trying a penis pump and using a cock ring? You may be able to keep him hard enough to satisfy both of you. And, as has been stated, there are numerous ways to enjoy sexual intimacy beyond intercourse. And, as you may, or may not have already discovered, an erection is not necessary for your husband to have an orgasm. It may take some extra work on both of your parts, and you may need to add some toys to the mix, but it's possible. Don't give up until you try all the options available. And there are a lot of them.

  2. Never say never Deborah... However, anal is at it's best when you find "the one". Part of sharing. But if it's something you just don't want or desire, that's okay too. One thing that age has taught us is that you need to be open to experiences. Never know when you might find something special.

  3. Relax and be in the moment. Don't drag what was into what is. Take your time. As the saying goes, "..it's not about the destination, it's about the journey". Learn to give yourself pleasure so you can guide your lover to give you pleasure. If you don't know what works for you, no matter how skilled he is, he won't either. Sex isn't solely about the orgasm, it's mostly about the sharing and enjoyment that it brings. The orgasm is the cherry on top of the sundae. Learn to enjoy everything about it, and you'll get the cherry on your sundae every time.

  4. Like l8niter said, there's a learning curve. This is different than what you did before. There are so many different toys out there, experiment and find what you and your SO like. There's no magic solution here. What works for one couple doesn't necessarily work for another. And, what works for your SO might not really be your favorite. And vice-versa. Be open with each other and talk about it. Here, we go by the theory that whatever gives the other pleasure is a GOOD THING. Maybe that will work for you, and maybe not. Remember, this is supposed to be fun, not work.

  5. Sometimes we get too wrapped up in the giving and receiving aspect of sex rather than the sharing aspect. That is, we're sharing ourselves with each other. Me, I'm just like you, I'd rather give oral than receive it. BUT, if D wants to give it, then she's sharing part of herself with me, so that's what we do. Not that I dislike it, in fact, she's quite good at it. We just incorporate what we both like into what we do. No judging, no complaining. If you don't have that with the guys you're intimate with, it's time to move on.

  6. Like many of you, D and I love country music. But me, I'm a fan of the old stuff. Plenty of songs by Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, and Patsy Cline that do the trick when making love. But, I don't limit myself to one genre, so, top of the list is Etta James, "At Last". Don't get much better than that.

  7. I look at it like the country song from years ago said, "...The older the violin, the sweeter the music". All of those miles have made us what and who we are l8niter. Don't sound like Wen and D are going to trade us in on newer models anytime soon.

  8. 58 here, but I been rode hard and put away wet a time or two. I'd have taken a little better care of myself if I'd known I was going to last this long. But, I wouldn't go back to being 25-30 even if I could do it knowing what I know now. Kind of comfortable in my old, worn out skin...

  9. Depends on my mood and/or the meal. But if I'm not drinking it with a meal, sometimes I enjoy a dry red and other times a slightly sweet white. Now, whenever I can get my hands on a bottle of homemade wine, I'm not choicey about what color. As to the second part, D's not much of a wine drinker, but alcohol definitely seems to have a positive effect. :D
