One of the biggest complaints about hollow strap ons is the hardness. They all have to be at least a little stiff to keep their shape during play. Some are harder than others.
Do you happen to remember which model you had before? That will help us to suggest ones that are softer.
The most- loved hollow strap on (and the softest, in my experience) is going to be a bit shorter than 8-9".

Another suggestion I can make if you're seeking softness is to SKIP any vibrating hollow strap ons. Yes, vibrating toys are nice, but the hollow dildos will be much softer if there is not a vibrator in the tip of the penis.
