    a couple years ago the hubby and I had this same problem for about 6 months, I was always sore, it was painful, and I was worried something was really wrong with me. Like you said we took our time, used lube, dryness wasn't a problem, and we were both trying to enjoy ourselves. And I realized after about 6 months that it was my reaction to my birth control pills, I went to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription a they switched it to another generic brand i had used before and all the symptoms stopped! When I thought back I realized all the symptoms had started when they switched my birth control for a similar generic 6 months before, so problem sloved and that brand of birth control avoided for now on! Sorry so long but the just of it is it possible its a reaction to birth control?

    OK, so, I had to reschedule my Woman's Wellness Exam, since my original appt. was cancelled the SAME FREAKIN' DAY OF the appt. I get one for the next day. Cool! OK, so I get in today, and I had told the nurse, when I called to schedule the appt. WHY I was going in there: Woman's Wellness Visit AND to get Mirena ordered.

    I get there, all stats taken (again, since this is a different clinic than my normal one...), and when I talk with the Dr. she says that I have to go to a GYN to get that "fitted", cuz they don't do that there.....WTF??? Why in the f*ck wasn't I told this at the first clinic, or when I called to schedule the appt. at this one??? I would've just GONE to a GYN in the f*ckin' first place, and had it ALL done there!!!! Jeeeeeez!

    I tell my nurse all my stuff, concerns, history, current health issues, whatnot, and then the doctor comes in and asks me the exact same questions! Why bother asking me in the first place, if the Dr. is not going to even bother reading my file first??? C'mon, how HARD can that be????

    So, I have to wait until NEXT Fri, when my results are in, then find an GYN, spend another $20 co-pay, to go and have ANOTHER consultation, and possibly ANOTHER speculum up my crotch, to get "fitted", then probably ANOTHER freakin' co-pay to have it inserted. I have NEVER heard of being "fitted" for one before.....crazy!!!!

    Oh, and let me just tell you why I went to the other clinic. It was because the NP wasn't going to be at the clinic closer to me, for another month, for some reason. And, I prefer to have a female doctor or NP examine my most private parts. Just a personal preference. Well, this doctor was nice to talk with, and very professional as far as the beginning of the exam, BUT when it came to the exam *down there*, she was rougher than I'd ever experienced!! :huh: OMG!! I felt almost like she should've at least hugged me for a bit!!! :rolleyes: Gawd!!

    :huh: Sorry for the waste of time, and bad experience, I've had a female doctor be pretty rough and its never fun to begin with!

    My wife and I have the ramp and the wedge combo, we tried them a few times and put them away. She found them uncomfortable on her back, but she has had back problems for a long time. We have thought about modifing them with some softer foam around the high density foam, but I am currently working on another project. :P But you two are young and shouldn't have those prblems. I have friends who swear by them, one was recommended by her OB-GYN. So go for it, just realized they are very stiff and can be uncomfortable to certain people.

    Have to saying just thinking of Everclear hurts, and I I'm not sure what I had but I know Everclear straight out of the bottle smells and burns going now, guess i needed a mixed drink, not straight shots..lol...

    I have never been too surprised the couple times i've been drunk, the first time though I remember waking up in the bathtub with the shower on and my hubby above me trying to clean me up, wasn't sure who he was, or i was, and it was all his fault..lol..the next mornign i remember waking up and turning over feeling funny and telling him I had a wierd dream until he told me it wasn't a dream, I still can't remember the whole night, it was my first time, I will always remember and not want to repeat... :D poor hubby had to take care of me all night.lol..

    I've been looking for lube that is all around good, for foreplay,oral and intercourse. I had the strawberry Astroglide in mind, it bears the Astroglide name which I've heard great things about! I was wondering since it is flavored is it safe to go from foreplay, to oral, then to intercourse? I know some lubes are great for oral but not for intercourse, So is Strawberry Astroglide recommended for this use? Thanks!
