This is my story. I started feeling somthing when I was in my teens. can anyone help me figure out how to tie knots? we have the japanese bondage ropes and my husband has used them to tie me up before. tonight I am planning (with his permission) to tie him up but I am afraid it will be difficult to get the knots secure. Hi, when it comes to bondage, we only use the white cotton sash rope. It ties easily and can be unknoted very easily but still restains extrmely well. It is the rope of choice with most on line bondage shows. Knots can be square knots which hold well and can be undone by your partner very quickly. There are several other knots usable if self tying. Slip knots are usefull but one should take care they can become tighter when he or she struggles when sexuallt assoused. tieing ones partner you can put the ropes on just tight enough then tighten them by securing through the legs or arms. Kris....do you ever really "leave" the lifestyle once you are in??? LOL. My hubby was hard to train - REALLY hard to train. Some of the suggestions you are getting here are very good. One of the ways to get started is one that I have used several times. Put some rope hidden near where your love making starts and after you and your partner are starting to get over heated, bring out some rope and just show it to him or her. Tell your partner you want to try something new and if at any time he or she is uncomfortable you will stop. If they are still uncomfortable, suggest they tie you up and do what ever you tell them to while making love to you. I don't think I would ever hear someone who is into bondage say, "hey dude, you only like to have sex in the dark in the missionary style, there is something WRONG with you if you don't like to be tied down!" OF course not, we wouldn't judge. What is right for US is right for US, and what is right for YOU is right for YOU! I think everyone is entitled to practice whatever they want in the privacy of their own home as long as it doesn't involve children, unsolicited torture, rape (not rape play, real rape), or murder (and then sex with the deceased). These things are never OK in mind mind, and in the legal mind either.

I'm looking for a good quality bondage kit. I've looked at several on this site... I need suggestions.
Our bed is a king size and there are no bedposts. We have a solid wood head and footboard so any tying would be to the frame underneath.
Would the tethers in most kits be adequate for that?
Also, I would love a kit with four restraints, tethers and a mask, and maybe a whip or some other type of accessory.

Use cotton rope and use a lot of it. Tie hands behind her or you.
