Given that one of our guys enjoys cock rings, we were excited by the arrival of two to try; the HummDinger standard which claims 30 minutes of stimulating fun and the HummmDinger Night Rider which claims 20 minutes of glow in the dark pleasure.

A HummDinger is a very thin and super stretchy jelly type ring with a clitoral stimulator affixed. Intended for single use, they come individually packaged so they could be ideal for an overnight bag or a weekend away. The clitoral attachment is about the size of a large grape and has some small nubs on it. Once opened, the vibrations are activated by sliding a small switch on one side of the stimulator, so even though they boast single use, we were able to use one of our rings in two separate sessions of play.

Both versions lived up to their claims of battery life, although they did begin to wane in strength over time. They were easily unpackaged and the on/off switch was easy to use and accessible. The HummDinger standard was a pleasing color and the blinking strobe light was interesting although not visible during actual intercourse. The HummDinger Night Rider claimed to glow in the dark… and boy did it. Seeing that glowing eerily green ring in the dark was a bit odd in an E.T. sort of way.

Neither hubby felt the rings were tight enough to serve their purpose of prolonging ejaculation. Both hubbies did agree the vibrations were enjoyable, but not overly exciting. After trying several positions, the only position we found that relayed the vibrations to the correct place was the cowgirl position and even then it was slight and required many different stops and breaks in play to re-maneuver into a place where the vibes could be felt by either of the women. This made the toy frustrating on many levels.

After two disappointing attempts, we tried it with our strap on. We were in hopes that it could be positioned on a dildo in a way to offer pleasure, but again we found ourselves disappointed. Unfortunately, the results of this toy were similar no matter which cock it was attached. All in all, while this product is a great idea, the HummDinger did not meet its objective. It was fun and with its low price per each, would probably be worth a trial for anyone curious about its potential.
