If your a neat freak, Jelly may not be the best choice for you. Even though you should wash is off before use the tacky outside is like a magnate. Jelly is the material with the most give, however, you have to be really careful to clean it all the way, since it's pourous, it can harbor bacteria. Plus, jelly has a rubbery smell to it that doesn't seem to go away.
I LOVE silicone. You have to remember to use only water-based lubes with it though, since silicone based lubes will turn your toy to mush. I did get the TooTimid Pleasure Gel, thinking a water-based would be the safest bet for someone with sensitive skin- but it really did dry up a bit too fast for me and I had to reapply a LOT during my attempts to insert the vibe.
