I'm not very big (5" or so), just got the fettish fantasy 6.5" in purple. Only used it on my wife once so far and was not erect when I did, so I was maybe only inserted an inch or two at the time. I've used it on my wife a few times. She enjoys it, but certain angles get painful for her because it's so wide. I did trim mine as I'm not the longest, but stays on snug and you get a surprising amount of feeling for how thick the material is.
