I'm a sub at heart but I've tried both. When my husband and I got together he told me whatever I wanted to he was down to try. It took a while for him to feel comfortable in the Dom roll, but after a few stop and go awkward moments he was a pro. I think there's always a lot of nervousness about how far is too far. I believe in this situation especially in the beginning it's very important to be clear about what you want. When I tried to switch rolls and be Dom it was awkward for me. I just couldn't get comfortable with it, so he took over and ruled my world again.
