I, personally, think it's interesting to hear what piercings people have/had. The reactions and stereotypes that people have to the idea of different body parts being pierced are fascinating to me. I'm a BIG fan of piercings. (Rob even jokes "No more facial piercings!”) I find them sexy – on myself and on others. I have several (facial and otherwise) – some that I’ve had since I turned 18 and some that I’ve taken out over the years. Some people definitely treat me differently because my lip is pierced – older women follow me through stores, I even have a family member who told me that I was not only disrespecting myself, but HER as well because SHE had to look at it. Everyone has their own opinion. For me, my piercings are a form of self-expression. I like the way they look, I like the adrenaline rush of getting something pierced. Do I feel that I’m too old to be walking around with holes in my face? Nope! Not yet! When I was young (14 or 15) my mom took my best friend and I to a fair and they were selling “fake” nose rings – I bought one and wore it only a short time because when my mom saw it she practically ripped it out of my nostril and told me that if I EVER pierced ANYTHING I better be out of the house, of course, that didn’t happen. I turned 18 and immediately went and got a tattoo and my nose and eyebrow done!
I feel that anyone who wants to do it – should! Never do it because your significant other thinks it would be sexy.
Piercings are removable – but they require a lot of work to keep. Of course, you ALWAYS want to go to a licensed professional – not your best friend who has a fetish with putting sharp things through perfectly good body parts!

I don't have any, but have played with the idea. I have my navel done, and had a tongue piercing, and of course, earrings, but no clit jewelry.IF you decide on getting something a bit more permanent, I would ADAMENTLY suggest that you go to a licensed professional, with a clean studio, and make sure that they're following sterilization protocalls! Also, my piercer told me that he doesn't even DO clit piercings (he does penis, hoods, but not clit) because, like the tongue, if they pierce the wrong area, it can kill the nerves in the clit. He just didn't want to run that risk, though he was a pro, he just didn't feel right about doing it. So, make sure you go to a piercer that you are fully comfortable with, is clean, sterile, and EXPERIENCED.

Teenage pregnancy is something that I feel VERY strongly about. It’s also a very touchy subject for many. Having said that…
While I agree that it sounds as if your daughter might not be ready to take on the trials and tribulations of parenthood at 19, I question what exactly you're trying to teach her by telling her that if she makes the decision to keep her child that you will disown and put her out on the streets - would you really do that to your own child – your flesh and blood, or are you simply saying that to force her into a decision that you think is right? With all due respect, it sounds as if you need to talk to her as her father (a man who should love and support her regardless) and not as some guy who doesn't want to take care of a baby because it will cause stress between him and his girlfriend. I understand where you’re coming from – your point is that you feel she isn’t ready or stable enough to care for a child – and you may be right, but she is 19 and you, or your family can not make this decision for her, nor should you try. What you should do is give her information on ALL of her options and talk them over with her – as an adult.
People make mistakes. Perhaps she needs guidance, support, and love and not ultimatums.
I am not a parent, at 25 I recognize that I am NOT ready, or able to take care of another life. I've never had to make the decision to have an abortion, or give a child up for adoption, but I know many women who have, and let me tell you, it is the HARDEST decision they have ever had to make and I respect each and every woman who has had to make a decision such as the one that you daughter is facing and I would never, not for one second, think that your daughter doesn’t know how serious this is.
In my opinion, your daughter needs you to step up and be a parent to her, and talk to her about what’s going on, without threats, or anger, or disappointment, because I guarantee you – she needs it right now.

Aw. I'm SO sorry. It's so hard to loose a pet that you love. Meg.
I feel pretty close to many of you, and just wanted to share.Last night, I had to put my 17 yr old gelding (horse) down. He had been very sick, and we'd been trying everything possible to get him better. Ironically, I'd made a vet appointment for him that very morning.
Long story short, I ended up having to put him down because he just wasn't getting better and he was acting wierd and laying all the way down. For those of you that don't know much about horses, when a horse lays all the way down, with even it's head on the ground, something is wrong, because their bodies aren't made for that. They can do more damage laying all the way down than most anything else.
He'd been sick for about 3 mos, and his body finally said enough.
I have some tail and mane clippings to make a few braids out of, to remember his coloring by, and, well, needless to say, it was a hard, sad night last night.

This toy is -not- waterproof, and if you're looking for a standard "no sparks and fireworks" lube, I would just use a good water-based lube, like our TooTimid Pleasure Gel. You could even Astroglide (which is our most popular lube, AND it even comes in Strawberry!)

Did you say that you actually found a place to get (and took) the morning after pill? That can cause bleeding. I would think that It's like taking a large amount of birthcontrol - it can cause spot bleeding and cramping. What the "morning after pill" does is bascially prevent your ovaries from releasing an egg, and it affects the uterus lining, so that a fertilized egg can't (or shouldn't be able to) attach itself there. Thats a lot of chemicals messing with the normal ebb and flow of your body - so I'd imagine that there would be some discomfort. Your period can (and I think should) come earlier (maybe to flush everything out?) Maybe that's the cause. You should make a doctors appointment to make sure you didn't have any complications - especially if the bleeding isn't your normal period-type-bleeding, or if you have lower tummy pain. I think the chances of actually having a negative response to the pill are pretty slim, but you DO NOT want to take any chances. If it were me, I'd get to a doctor pretty quickly.
Also, keep in mind that this pill does not protect you for the rest of your cycle - so even if you have just taken the pill make sure you use protection!!

To clean your new toy, I'd use a mild antibacterial soap (like dial hand soap) and a little bit of warm water! Make sure you don't get the battery pack wet.

You could try oral sex lubes/gels. They come in all sorts of yummy flavors - which are sure to mask the taste. Try our Sex Tarts Sampler or fruity mixed drink flavored lubes called Intoxicating Body Gels. Alternatively, you could try dildos made of silicone, they might not have as much of a taste as cyberskin or rubber, however, they aren't as realistic as the cyberskin products tend to be.

Although, with cleaning any toy in the dishwasher, be sure that it is a waterproof one, or one with no electrical parts, and have the end on it, to keep the insides from getting wet. I know they tell you to NOT have intercourse while treating a yeast infection because your partner can become infected. BUT...are condoms a good barrier or does the antifungal treatment break them down?
(my partner actually wanted me to ask this because he hates not getting any when I get one)
This was posted a while ago, but, I wanted to reply and let you know that I think the antifungal treatments CAN break down a condom, and I think it even says on the box NOT to use a condom for this reason. I suspect though that you aren't using the condom as a means of BC, just to protect him from NOT getting a YI, right? In any case, as a woman who gets yeast infections, I say - OUCH! I can't imagine even wanting sex while being treated for a YI, I tell my partner that there is no penetration until I'm completely better (you're a trooper!) I think it can also make it worse!! I am wondering if I have thyroid problems. There is a family history of this. I have put on weight and just can't seem to lose it. Also (can't believe I"m saying this) my libido is sluggish now too. I can't see a doctor for 3 months as hubby is starting a new job and I will FINALLY have insurance so I can get this all checked out.
Anyone here have this issue or know someone who does?? Helllp!!!
I’m not a doctor (although I have been known to play one on the internet. lol) but, I think it's a good possibility that your thyroid is giving you issues. Of course the weight gain is a pretty big sign, especially if it's a significant amount over a short amount of time, as well as feeling sluggish. If you have a family history, I would get it checked out immediately, so that if you do have an issue, you can get on medication and back to normal ASAP! When I read this post, I asked my roommate who was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism when she was young (she’s 30 now;) she said that it sounds as though it could be the answer, as she said she has some of the same symptoms when she doesn't take her medication regularly.

Birth Control doesn't guarantee 100% that you won't get pregnant-in fact it isn't unheard of for a woman to get pregnant while having been on the pill for years-while it isn't extremely common, stranger things have happened...
okokok, I know that isn't helping but, there are other options-the morning after pill (assuming it's been less than 72 hours) or take a home pregnancy test (I think there are some that can tell you almost immediately?!?) If you're really worried, contact your doctor, he or she can give you all the options you need!!
If you are pregnant (which is a pretty slim to none chance-by the way) if you keep taking your BC I'm pretty sure that the results won't be good (especially if you *want* to be pregnant!)
AND, in case you didn't know, BC DOES NOT protect against ANY STD’s. If an unwanted pregnancy doesn’t ruin your day-certainly an STD will.
We ALL do stupid things, but you're the only one who can protect yourself...

I find myself to be willing to try almost anything once. A three way is at the top of my list right now. I wouldn't mind having two guys at once but would perfer another woman. Personally, I think astroglide (and KY for that matter) are too sticky ( feel gross after using them!) If you have sensitive skin, I recommend EROS Woman Bodyglide. It's a really light lubricant with absolutely no taste or smell. It isn't sticky and it's great for women with sensitive skin! I'll never go back!!

Ya know, I haven't met a person who doesn't like the Coochy Cream! With summer coming, I think this product is a must have! We even have a fragrance free kind for people with sensitive skin (such as myself!) I've even heard of people using it as hair conditioner and men using it to shave their faces (and other parts - I would imagine!)
