Hello texasangel and welcome! I'm fairly new here myself and am working on coming out of my shell in my late 30's. My advice echos that of others', definitely get out, go out and meet people. Try to leave as much past baggage in the past, and let go of expectations and preconcieved notions (including about yourself) and just have fun, and go forward with an open mind! You never know what doors will open, or who you'll meet, but it's definitely worth adventuring to see what is next for you in life! I wish you all the best!
