  1. Just curious if anyone is giving a sex toy(s) as a Christmas present?

I've only done that once, and it was a gag gift. Though it was a male masturbator in the shape of a pussy, RealSkin type, pretty detailed. Forwarned our friend that he needed to open it alone, though his GF insisted to have him open it at the family Christmas opening. I had put "OPEN IN PRIVATE" on the tag, so HE knew to do so, but he went with his GF's wishes, and after she got offended, he told her "I told you that when she puts what she did on the tag, she means it!!" LOL Thankfully, he found it hilarious!!! He was actually pissed because his GF threw it out before he even got a chance to use it!! LOL

  2. I think that people that resort to name calling because they don't get what they want are extremely immature, and you've made the right choice by not sleeping with them.

Everyone's sexual timing, preferences, desires, and levels are their own. NOBODY should tell you what they think you should do with your body sexually. Ever. Suggestions, sure. Tips and hints, those can be helpful. However, if what they say makes you feel as though they're trying to manipulate you into doing something you really don't want to do, or are hesitant to do it, then THEY are the ones that have the issues, not you!

My second ex-husband tried the name calling with me. I cut him off when he got going. I NEVER thought he'd personally insult me. I told him that I can be the biggest bitch on the planet to him, and that's ok. However, him insulting me will NOT be tolerated. And, if anything, he WILL respect me as the mother of one of his children. There was NO tolerance for that, and he knows it. He was lashing out at me because he was hearing things (concerns my daughter kept bringing home) that he didn't like. So, like a child, he insults me with foul names. Um, hell no.

It's perfectly OK to stand up for yourself, whether you're male or female. I'm seeing more and more disrespect, especially in the younger people, and it's infuriating!

  3. Whether you're married, or steadily dating, do you take a night off for yourself?

Tonight is a night that my GF and I agreed to stay at our own houses, so that I can have time alone with my daughter, and she can have some time alone for herself at her house with her animals. She doesn't have any children of her own.

I think that it's important to have a bit of time for yourself, to keep yourself you, and to also catch up with things that may be put on the back burner because you want to spend time with your SO.

We've agreed on 2 nights a week to stay at our own homes, giving my daughter a break, since she has a hard time with her father (he doesn't spend time with her much, and his girlfriend/baby-momma lives with him, so he spends no one-on-one time with our daughter), and, I'm sure still isn't fully accepting of my relationship with another woman.

Do you take time out for you? If so, how do you do it? What do you do when you get alone time?

  4. I like how you worded this. "ladies, have you done this for your husband?" That shows that you're a lot more accepting and open to this possibility.

Where I have not done this, a few of my friends have. One couple is still together, having tried it, and found it wasn't for them. Another couple are now divorced, but not because of them swinging. They were together for years, and had this lifestyle almost the whole time.

It takes a lot of courage, openness, and a strong marriage to withstand this. Tread lightly, keep the lines of communication open, and I look forward to hearing about your experiences.

  5. licketysplit%20(2).jpg&maxx=440&maxy=0This toy, made by NSNovelties, was one that, upon seeing on the site, I just HAD to try! It's an Oral Stimulator, so it's not made just for the clit, but it can stimulate licking in other places as well. I'm always kind of wary when trying a new sex toy brand, however, I can honestly say that NSNovelties is a winner in my selective book!

This item seems like it has the best of almost all sex toy worlds! It's a soft, silky 4" worth of silicone, which makes it antibacterial, and pleasing to the touch. The base is a hard plastic, with 2 buttons. One turns it on/off, and the other controls the vibes and functions (10 in all). The total length is about 7" long. It is RECHARGABLE!! Wait, what??? Yes!! It's rechargable! It comes with a USB cord (but no plug). And it's a specialty plug into the toy, so be sure to keep track of it!! It's shaped like an extremely long tongue, with the tip flicked up, and the middle of it kind of scooped, which makes it, in my opinion, perfectly shaped for all sorts of pleasure.

The box it came in is very simple, with a picture of it as its actual size on one side, and a clear window on the other. It's a sturdy box, and very simple and classy. It does say this toy is "splash-proof", so where you can probably use it in the shower, do not immerse this toy in water, probably due to the plug in port on the bottom of the toy. Either way, I'd stay away from water with it, to be on the safe side.

Seeing this toy in person definitely confirmed my desire to try this purple and white silicone beauty as well deserved!

I used my cell phone plug to start charging my purple tongue toy. I let it charge for about 5 hours before using it. There were no directions, telling me how long to charge it though. So, this was a guess. I'd recommend charging it for at least 12 hours for the first charging. The 5 seemed to do just fine for the short time I used it, but afterwards, it was very weak. My second time charging it, I charged it over 12 hours, and that worked very well.

The first usage, I used it on myself. I used the toy to "lick" my nipples, and then all the way down to my snatch. I used the 3 setting, which is a very strong steady vibe. I love strong vibes, and this was perfect for me.

I "licked" my pussy lips, then started stroking up and down, slowly teasing my clit, then going back down to my lips again. After several minutes of teasing and "licking", and moving the vibe in various ways, I settled my "tongue" to the side, and used it to flick my clit, pressing it into my clit as I did so. Sideways gave my clit the direct stimulation she craves, and I flicked myself to a very strong orgasm!

The second usage, I used it on my girlfriend. She and I have similar wants when it comes to clit stimulations. I slowly teased her just like I did myself. She's also starting to want to try sex toys more and more, so I told her to take the vibrator, and play with herself. I watched as she teased herself, just like I had done to myself and to her. Then, she too put the toy where the tongue was on its side, and she pressed it into her clit. Soon, she was cumming very hard as well. She used it a couple of times on herself that night. During our snuggle time, she told me that I had to give this toy a very, very good review. This toy, so far, is her favorite we've used!!

Ladies, do we not LOVE clit stimulations? I mean, you get a tongue down there, that knows what it's doing, and it can literally shoot us to the orgasm moon!

I recommend that you get this toy Lickety Split!!! I give it my highest rating of 4 Tyger Paws WAAAAY up, a poofy tail, claws out, and a satisfying purr!!!!

  6. Meeting people without their own agenda and what they can get out of you with little to no effort on their part is very, very hard. It really does take a lot of time, effort, and a willingness to open up yourself to the possibilities of being hurt or used. It's very daunting, with the use of the internet, with the dating world.

I will give encouragement though. I met my now girlfriend, on a dating website for people with herpes, which was really nice to be able to have a connection, and not worry about being rejected on that alone. She's also my first girlfriend, me being more open to the possibilities of trying something new. We've been together now 14 months!!! We've had our issues, though they're pretty light actually. We talk, and are working hard on breaking our cycles what we use to do. I'm nothing like any of her other girlfriends, and she's nothing like my previous relationships, in more ways than just her being female.

It's worth the risk, though it's so very hard. There's hope, but sometimes it takes a longer time than what we want. The key is not to settle for less than what you know you deserve.

  7. I love love love glass products!! When a woman uses them, usually lubes aren't really needed because they're so smooth! And, easy to clean!!! I love the fact that they're made of the same type of glass as a popular glass cookware, so you KNOW they're safe, sturdy, and not to mention, very pretty as well! If this toy has a base to it, it may very well be used in a harness. If you have a harness, I would suggest getting some of the graduating rings, usually made of sturdy rubber, that helps keep the toys in the harness easier (if the harness has the snaps to put the toy in that is). Let us know how it's going!!!

  8. I am not a beginner per se...never used toys during sex till recently and never again. When you've got a hot, living, breathing man with you why need toys? He was giving me incredible oral and decided to use a vibe...it undid me. lost it, made him stop...it was awful. He was trying for the g spot to go along with his oral feast. what a disappointment that was. He was like "What?" I had no answer other than it wasn't working well at all. Those damned things will stay in the box for my own use from now on. it was that bad. I know everyone is different, we tried and it was a fail. I was so teetering on the edge and then it was like omg STOPPPP. Anyone else know what I am talking about, or am I the crazy one?

This is actually a very common mistake.

Whether you have a partner or not, you never "need" sex toys. True story. Sex toys are an ENHANCEMENT in the bedroom. Never a replacement for your partner. If you're solo, they can help you orgasm faster than solo play.

If he surprised you with the use of the vibe, that was an obvious mistake. He should've discussed it with you, or at least mentioned it before he used it on you.

Have you ever had a g-spot orgasm? The beginnings of one can feel wierd, almost like you're going to pee yourself. It can almost be unpleasant, but not quite. It gets better with time and practice.

The key is lots of clit stimulation to go with the g-spot stimulation. Some people can cum easier if they use a toy for the g-spot stimulation because of the hardness of the toy, or the positioning of the toy's head. A curved, plastic or glass toy is best (that I've found) for g-spot stimulation.

Just one time is not enough to make the decision to stop using toys. Let me share my experience with you:

When I first joined TooTimid, My ex husband had your thoughts: "If you have me, why should you need a sex toy?" I told him that they're for fun. Add excitement, variety, and play in the bedroom. Toys for adults. After a couple of toys we tried together, he was all for it. He loved seeing the boxes arrived, and would even go ahead and open them first sometimes!! Then, he shocked me by asking for something for himself. a male masturbator. Was I offended? NO!!! I was glad he was opening his mind and sense of adventure. He had a perfectly good woman at home, and a masturbator wasn't going to destroy our marriage. In fact, it was fun to have a "3-some" with it.

It does take time to get use to the idea of adding sex toys. But, as with any part of a relationship, it just takes time and discussion. I hope you give it another shot. I don't think you'll be sorry.

If there is a next time, take charge of the toy, show him how you like it to be used on yourself, watch him pleasure yourself. Trust me, he'll love it.

  9. For a while, we were able to review adult DVDs. However, now we don't. There are some really good reviews on there for some past DVDs. Not sure if many of the DVDs are still available since stock rotates quite a bit. I'm going to see if DVDs can be reviewed again, I think it would be nice to hear what they're about. Although, I will say it's hard to review them because people's tastes are so different when it comes to adult DVDs.

  10. Now how do you get over with what others think? :P

You have to work at it. It took me years to do so.

But, what made it clear for me, is that I thought that there's no one person in my life that thinks exactly as I do. I want to be as happy as I can be. Not worrying about what others think is really weight lifting. It really does make you happier.

You have to realize that, no matter what you do, or what others say, you never truly know what people are honestly thinking. And, whether you know or not, does it REALLY affect your life on a grand scale? Probably not.

  11. I wanted to add more to this.

    I'm in a girl/girl relationship: my first.

My girlfriend has been fantastic!! She's been very patient with me, but I'm more adventurous and daring. I've been able to do things at my pace, we talk about sex, quite a bit. And even before I went down on her the first time, she was very nice, and understanding on how nervous I was. However, even as Out as she is, and how In The Closet I have to be due to work, we're still very sexually active. I have a feeling my GF suffers from some depression, but still, she wants me, and I her.

Mrs.BettyCrocker is right. You definitely need to speak with her. It sounds like a very one-sided relationship, from what you've said in your brief post. Even if "going down isn't her thing", she can still give, whether it's with fingers or toys, she still can please you too. That's one thing that couples that truly love each other, especially in newer relationships, should want to do, please each other.

You sound like you're trying, but it doesn't sound like she's even wanting to be bothered to try. Yes, some people's medications kill a sex drive, or hormones, but, you have to be willing to try and give to your partner, one way or another.

Domination/submission is difficult if neither of you have done it, both of you are more like subs, or both are doms. Yes, even when you're into it, it can seem silly, but usually, you should be caught up in the moment enough where the silliness isn't noticed.

It almost sounds as if she thinks of you more as a friend, or someone to be with so she can say she's not alone. I'm sorry, that may hurt to read, but, that's what it kinda sounds like to me.

    I hope things get better!

I've seen so many versions of the rabbit sex toys. All sorts of shapes and sizes. However, this one really grabbed my attention, because, as my screen name suggests, I love big cats. And this Jungle Jaguar from Blush Novelties is right up my alley!

The packaging is great! The clear plastic box the toy is in, makes it easy to see, along with some nice benefits listed on the side of the box. Then, surrounding the box, is a nice hard plastic frame-like casing which helps add style and protection for the toy. On the purple frame, it has the specs of the toy as well.

Not only is it a big cat, it's also a great purple color. The it's made from TPE, which is like a jelly material, so there was a slight rubbery odor to it. It wasn't an overwhelming smell though.

This is a very long toy, at almost 11" long, but the insertable length is almost 6" long and 1.75" in diameter. The leaping jaguar part is about 4" long. The box says that it's "splash proof", which means it's not waterproof, and says that you can use it in the shower. The gasket in the base is decent, and so is the gaskets around the buttons as well. I haven't used it in the shower though.

The shiny purple base unscrews to open up to have a battery insert for you to put your 3 AAA batteries. There are 2 buttons on the base, one that controls the shaft that is the insertable, ribbed part with the penis shaped head. That part has its own bullet for vibrations, and 3 settings of rotations. The other button controls the bullet in the jaguar. And let me tell you, this thing purrs to life when you turn it on!! The buttons light up, so you know which one is on. To shut it off, you hold each button that's on down for 3 seconds. This toy is NOT overly quiet, but it does has a lot of power.

The jaguar looks like it's leaping and roaring, so the paws are in the front, and the little mouth is open. This adds more direct stimulation to your clit, not to mention it's pretty cool looking too!

I love the power of this toy! The jaguar's power was making me purr and climb the walls in no time at all. The vibes in each of the bullets is independent, and strong. Satisfying this very demanding Tyger herself!

This toy is a pretty pleaser that I'd recommend for an intermediate to advanced toy user due to the size of the toy and care of the material. TPE needs to be cleaned well, and I'd recommend that it's stored in the original packaging to protect it.

This toy gets a leaping Tyger rating (pawsome!!!). It definitely brought out my wild side! RAWR!

Pounce on this toy yourself!!! http://www.tootimid.com/jungle-jaguar-7838.html

  13. More foreplay is very important. Just being a little turned on doesn't always do it. It also depends on the lube you're using. If the toy is compatible, you can use a silicone lube with it. However, if the toy is silicone, don't use silicone lube with it. Some lubes are more slick than others, even water-based ones. You may want to try a different lube altogether.

Do you stimulate your clit before trying to insert the toy? This may help quite a bit actually.

What's the name of the large toy you have?
