Thanks. I couldn't ask for a more understanding partner. Though she is openly gay (not butch and not a lipstick lesbian either, you can tell, but I'd say she's more tom-boyish), she understands and accepts that I live in a very reserved part of E. TX & isn't pushing me at all. She also understands that my daughter is my #1 concern and that, in my daughter's eyes, for now, her and I are friends. I don't like keeping things from my daughter, but until I figure out if this is something that I truly want, or if it's a phase, I don't feel the need to confuse my daughter, who's already gone thru so much these last 2 yrs. This woman understands that, and is very sweet about it all. No pressure.

I've suspended all of my dating sites as of 2 weeks ago. I met someone from one of them (a people with herpes site). And, I am happy to report that it's going very well. Oh, BTW, it's a woman.
I've always been curious, and I'd put No Preference on the gender I was looking for. She responded, and we've been talking, texting, and seeing each other for a little over a month. I used condoms for YEARS, even while married, to help prevent an unwanted pregnancy & STD prevention, successfully.
It seems that there are so many different types of condoms, one may be a bit confused as to what to get! And then there are people's personal preferences, sizes, and effects. Ugh! Well, this is where we here at TooTimid are happy to help you out!
I've never tried lambskin condoms before. I've always used latex ones. So, I was intrigued on trying these out. Unfortunately, I don't have anyone to try these out with, so one of my toys was my latex-free lover for the evening.
Let me start with the basics. I checked on the price of these condoms, and these are a lot more expensive than regular latex. 3 for $19.99. The plus side, is that if you have a latex allergy, these are a great alternative to your pregnancy prevention needs.
Tearing open the package, I did notice a more natural, almost jerky-like smell to it, which makes sense in a way since this is an animal based product. I did not care for the smell much, but that's just me.
The next thing I decided to do is first roll it part way on my finger first, to see how it feels on real skin. So I rolled one on my index and middle fingers on my right hand. The condom was really thin and I touched it with varying pressures to see how I could feel it through it. The one thing that surprised me was that the condom itself was not stretchy.I was worried about how it would stay on, but the bottom has an elastic like band inside it, that makes it grip the penis base (or toy) rather well, but not as well as latex. But the flak in the condom itself did concern me.
The condoms do have lubricant on them. However, it does state on the box, and here and the website, that lambskin condoms are to be used ONLY for preventing pregnancy, not to protect against STD's. Please keep this in mind if you're purchasing these for safe sex purposes, because that's not what these are for (safe sex).
It gripped my chosen dong rather well, and the lubricant on the condom did work really well. But I could definitely feel and see wrinkles in the condom on the toy. Which should be a concern on a penis, since the wrinkles can allow for air to get caught inside, and be pushed out, as well as pushing semen out.I did NOT see any mention of any sperm killing coating on the inside of the condom, so I would be very, very wary about using these at all.
I do not recommend these condoms. Though I haven't used them with a real person, after experimenting with my fingers and a phallic toy, I don't want to either.

This toy is almost 9" long, and most of that is insertable. Almost 1.5" in diameter, this toy is not only fun, it's filling. The shaft is straight, so not a g-spot toy. I'd never heard of Trinity Vibes before, and I always love finding new and inventive toy companies; so I was super-excited to get one of their Blushing Bunnies line called Versa Bunny Vibrator. It's a dual action, and well, it's a "rabbit". LOL
I loved the light purple color (since purple is my favorite color). I also saw that it had 2, yes 2 bullets powering the vibes of this toy. The more bullets, the more powerful the toy!
The 2 things that made me a bit wary were that it took only 3 AAA batteries (not incl.), and the shaft was bendable and slightly thin.
The shaft is spiraled design for added stimulation. The toy's covering is a jelly type material (TPR), so there was a slight "new toy" smell, but it wasn't as strong as I thought it'd be. After washing, it wasn't as strong as it had been in the package.
The shaft itself has about a 4.5" insertable length, but it's a bit too thin around for my taste, a bit under 1" in diameter. But I still had to try it. Never judge a book, or, well, toy by appearances alone.
Now, we all know that "rabbits" are designed for clit stimulations. This clit "bunny" has raised ears so that you can use them to tickle your clit. The "bunny"'s head is slightly pointed for some more firm direct stimulation. The bullet that powers the vibes takes up over half of the stimulator.
The 3 AAA batteries go into a battery slide in/out insert, and it's pretty tight. There are 2 buttons to control the bullet in the clit stimulator, and one for the shaft vibes. There are arrows that control the low to high vibes (separate). The toy is not too loud, however, it probably will be heard behind a shut door.
This toy doesn't not claim to be waterproof, so don't attempt to use this in the tub or shower. Better to be safe than sorry.
I was impressed at the strength of the vibes, both in the shaft and stimulator.
I used this toy as it was intended: having the shaft inside me and the bullet on my clit. The clit stimulator did its job very well. The bendable shaft however, was TOO bendable to use it for any sort of g-spot stimulation, or any other sort of stimulation other than the thrusting you can do vaginally.
This would be a decent beginner rabbit because of the simple and not confusing buttons, the powerful vibes, and the sheer cuteness of this toy. However, a person that is more use to rabbit stimulators, it may not fill your needs quite as much. I'll give this toy a 2 out of 4 Tyger Paw rating for vibe strength and cuteness. I just wasn't impressed with this toy overall.

I can't say it enough: California Exotics is one of my favorite toy companies today. This pure silicone strapless strap on has many awesome features that almost anyone can love!
Silicone is awesome! You can boil it to disinfect it, it is anti-bacterial, and very durable. What's not to love?
This satin finish toy is almost 9" in total length. It's got an insertable length of about 7" fulfilling inches. Let me just add that the rules for dating are sooooo different than they were even 10 yrs ago. It's hard to figure out. I'm interested in one guy, much younger than myself, & he seems to be interested in me at times as well. But I don't want to appear desperate or stalker like either. I've been in a couple of Flirtationships. I've had one that got a little bit too demanding for my tastes, so I ended that. And you know what? I didn't feel guilty about it either.
I think that Flirtationships are a safety net. As you stated, us ladies in the 40's, have a lot of baggage and trust issues. It's not like we haven't been in good relationships, but after those have failed, we're a bit more cautious. I think it's pretty natural (men too).
So I think that, for a self-preservation thing, and also a way to get back in the dating saddle again, these are beneficial. Well, I was perusing the site once again, and I thought I'd update my feelings on this matter a few months later.
Do I think I'll give marriage another try? I'm really not sure. I don't think so at this time, but never say never. I'm not dating anyone seriously, though I had one that I was really interested in, but he was unsure, so that ended.
I've had a few stand me up, I've had a few that I've gone out with. I'm still enjoying my freedom, though I do miss the companionship. I'm not really sure what the future will hold. I'm not in any rush.

There's a small rubber-like gasket to make it waterproof, however, the gasket came off partially, when I unscrewed the cap, so with a little manuevering, I was able to get the gasket back on decently. When I got this item, the bullet was already IN the liner, and it is a tight fit. I had to bend the top of the liner a bit to get enough of the bullet exposed to remove it, but when I got a good grip, it came out rather easily. The watch batteries give this bullet decent vibe strength, and several vibe patterns. I was a little disappointed that the vibes weren't terribly strong. However, this toy is pretty quiet, especially once the bullet it put inside the liner.
The liner is black silicone, so please remember, do NOT use any silicone lubes on or around this toy! I loved the sleek color and design of this toy. The liner is small, almost 6" in length. It's a silky feeling silicone. I loved the scooped shape of it immediately. Some thought had been put into this toy. The part that will stimulate the labia is where the bullet goes in, and it also has 4 decent sized bumps on it for added stimulation. The narrow tip of this toy is decent, but won't give as much direct stimulation to the clit. Because of the material & shape, once placed inside your harness or panties, it doesn't slide all around. I really liked that part.

I said it on the other post, but I think that people that have a fling before getting married aren't really ready for marriage. I think it's selfish and cruel to do to someone, if they pose as single and lead one on. I'm sorry that she did that.
Unfortunately, with the internet, the pool of people has gotten a lot larger, and it's harder and harder to find those people of quality. It's harder to see those that are players online, and it's near impossible to get a "vibe" from anyone when you're online. They pose as whatever they want you to see.
There are women out there that will be THRILLED to have you in their lives. There are many sites that are for dating, however, along with those, there are the good and the bad. It's harder and harder to find anyone. Looking is easy. I perused many sites and profiles. Sent many messages. I too got married dudes, guys looking to go swinging too. Crude? OMG!!
