WOW, being the first time I post in this forum, I didn't think i would get so many replies during the first day. Thanks a lot guys, that really makes one feel good about asking questions in forums. Synirr: One thing I forgot to specify was that we (my girlfriend and I) are not really into yoga/tantric music. I personally like it a little, but it just doesn't appeal to me during sex. Now that I think about it i forgot to say another important thing: MY GIRLFRIEND DOESN'T KNOW I'M ASKING THIS HERE but that's just because i want to surprise her with some nice music that she (and I) doesn't know. I don't know if I'm really trying to set a specific mood, the main reason for this post is to get to know music for all any ocassion, and not just ONE kind of music (like to set a romantic mood... which is great sometimes, but you end up with only just one STYLE of music). I mean: there's some music that's obviouly good for sex, like romantic and relaxation music, but i'm also interested in music for people who are not so interested in that kind of music. That's why I posted some genres that i wanted to exclude, not because i don't like them, but because my aim is, as i said, to know new fun (and appropiate) music for those moments. flutterbie: Thank you for taking the time to write all the songs. I'm going to try that combination to see how it works for us. Also: very nice to divide it into 3 groups by the "mood" it reflects. It's cool since one can add (or remove) more songs if you usually last longer (or not so much) during some stages of sex (i don't know if the word "stages" is well used there, i had to look for it in the dictionary to express what i wanted to say). I didn't know i knew this music, until i searched in youtube (in fact i stoped writting this post for like 10 minutes just to listen and look for information and reviews). It's nice "romantic but not THAT much" from the couple of videos i listened to. I'll do some research to see if i like it. Thanks. Will also do some research about these two. First of all this is my first post, and I'm from Argentina so bare with me if i type wrong or say something that's not quite correct (gramatically al least). I was wondering what music you would recommend to listen during sex. I know music is something very subjective, but maybe from experience or other reasons you could give me some directions on this... I think you could advice me better if you know a couple of things: -My girlfriend (22) and I (23) are not really fond of classic romantic music, I don't know if this is a genre, but i mean the typical romantic music that appear in some movies and are like icon romantic songs, like: "Only you" or "Unchained Melody" - the theme from 'Ghost' the movie (those were the first one that came to my mind, but i think you get the point). -Some bands we usually listen to (during sex): evanescence, linkin park, power/heavy metal (usually ballads though), maná, dido , norah jones, to list a few. -We also listen to music from movies, like moulin rouge.. so if you can think of a movie with music that apply to our style, please tell me. -I've read a couple of posts in this forum and others, and A LOT of people recommend Massive Attack, so at the moment i'm going to experience with that. -We also don't like the kind of background music from porno movies, it feels really artificial. One last thing: since this is my first post I didn't know if the "Everything Else" subforum was the right place to post it, so i apologize if it wasn't. Thanks in advance.
