  1. The lack of replies is a little disconcerting but then Married/Commited isn't one of the most frequented categories. Maybe more input will come in over the weekend. I've been talking with some women at work about the estrogen creams and haven't found anyone who's tried them. One older woman, 62, wondered if they'd still help even though she went through menopause many years ago. Her husband still gets frisky occassionally but she finds it, not painful, but not totally comfortable either. Leslieanne, is it worth it for her to spend the money on seeing her doctor?
  2. Okay ladies, heading into menopause and need reassurance. The hot sex life my husband and I have always enjoyed isn't going to go away now is it? Anybody used estrogen cream or est-rings to keep natural lubrication levels high?
  3. Thanks to all for the advice, especially the topical estrogen and the est-ring. I'll give those a try if I stop being juicy enough. I'm very fit, good diet, plenty of excercise so no issues there. It isn't that I'm affraid to talk with my Gyn it's just that I'm one of those problem free people who only go in for the 20 minute visit once a year. My menopause symptoms have been so mild so far I haven't felt the need to call, I'm definitly not interested in HRT. Since the first time we made love my hubby has been almost addicted to my smell and taste. Lapping me up is still his absolute biggest turn-on and I just don't want that to stop for him. There is something kind of troubling though, not one post-menopausal woman responded saying that she still had a 'great' sex life. I guess I'll have to make that a second topic. Pep talks from other women would definitly be helpful. Thanks again!
  4. Turning 50 next month and starting to go through menopause but with relatively little trouble. Some hot flashes at night but happy to not be dealing with periods. Scared to death though that it will put an end to my husband's absolute favorite part of our sexual relationship. He adores having me sit on his face so he can lap up my sex juices. Everything I read about menopause tells me women dry up. We're familiar with lube use with our toys but they're definitly not for eating pleasure! I have no one I can ask about something so personal. Do all women dry up? Will it happen right away? Are we down to our last few months of prime sex while I'm going through "the change"? Our sex drives are both high, is mine going to drop off now? I know this is mood swing hormones talking but I really do worry. Are there post-menopausal women out there with great sex lives?
