Members kanga grey Posted December 31, 2019 Members Report Share Posted December 31, 2019 hi guys just to let you guys know that Australia is in one of the worst droughts in our history and were on fire with 5 million hectares of Australia all ready burnt and its taking a very big toll on our wildlife with a lot of our kangaroos and koalas possums being burnt to death and we have little to no water to put it out (we are using fire retardant in our water bombers) we have a lot of international firefighters plus our own rural (rfs) and regular firers working on it but 9 people have lost there lives since our fire season started back in September 1 month early have lost there lives to it, today were i live in Sydney NSW the temperature is for the third day 44c (111.2f) with a 30% chance of a thunderstorm and more days of over 40c to come with no rain, the other day we had a 1.5metre brown snake in our backyard (luckily the dog was in side the 2nd most deadest venom in the world) in Sydney with over 2.5 million people in it and our main water supply is at 40%, we do have a desall plant up and running but that only does 30% of Sydney nearly all of our rural towns are without water do oyu get any news of this on your news coverage?
