Achromatic

Moonlight spills color.

Washed into shades of black,

midnight gray.

Limbs tangled together,

Sheets entwined, holding captive,

around two who love.

White thighs riven asunder.

Flash of hair against pink, I think.

A black and white study.

What color is his hair?

It matters not. Midnight has it's

own hue.

Lips seeking, insistent.

parting, searching, finding.

Speaking a song of thirst

against me.

I give freely, copiously

and lose thought.

Tomorrow when dawn

breaks, I will know the

color and it will

matter not.

Because love is blind,

and passion paints with its own palette.
