There is a copy of "Pirates" there, and I was going to pick it up, because the price was low and I wanted a DVD with a plot. The box carries an R rating. I was online researching and apparently this movie was redone for an R rating. If anyone has seen it, is it soft core? Do they show sex? From what I'm reading the R version doesn't. The film has excellent camera work, and I will admit that I have just sat down and watched the movie. The XXX version does show sex. And hot sex at that. (Im pretty sure someone on the boards has done a review on the movie for you to check out.) If you are looking for something with a plot that is a little less expensive. Try Tailgunners, dinner party 3 or Mobsters ball. If you’re looking to splurge try Pirates or Man hunters (Picked this one out myself for the store. Women Bounty hunters KICK ASS!) The R rated version is more just teh story and the kind of porn you rent at blockbuster (you can actually rent it there if you want a preview for cheap) The reason it's so expensive is that it was (it might still be) the most expensive porn shot to date. SO they do need to pass the cost on. The sex in the unrated version is amazing, you name it they did it pretty much. I do have to say though the opening scene, she's supposed to be a virgin?! HAHA I think not. ANy way the dialogue is hilarious (I think she must be leading them in bible study. <cut away shot> OH GOD! OH GOD!) costumes are pretty cool. NOt big budget hollywood special effects but they are just as good as any scifi channel movie. The unrated version has teh option to watch only the sex and a few other cool features, plus if you have an HD DVD player you can get an HD version. Members its1013 Posted May 23, 2008 Members Report Share Posted May 23, 2008 I own it. and quite honestly, I was disappointed. the actors are beautiful - hot bods but the acting, the story line leaves a lot to be desired and there's too much girl on girl action if you ask me. the sets are FAB as well as the costumes.I bought it because I thought it would be as good as THE DINNER PARTY. Members Kinky Twinkie Posted May 23, 2008 Members Report Share Posted May 23, 2008 I didnt know about the r rated version til about an hour ago when a girl from work said she bought it and it was edited, I told her I would loan her my copy. my wife and Ilove this movie but you get so caught up in the story and funny parts you can easily forget it a porn until the sex scenes appear. You can leave the cover out and few people would notice it was a porn, the cover dosnt indicate that but dont forget to turn it off if company drops by especially with kids. I had to buy it Hubby has always liked the wham bam thank you mam porn but I like this it’s funny and I’m sorry I look at those boobs and know when they’re 90 they will STILL look like that.
