I did end up looking into Meniere's Disease after reading these posts -- quite interesting, actually. I can just imagine how horrible and crazy people with this condition can feel. A good summary page I found is www.meniersinfo.com. It speaks to the several symptoms that totally made sense to Thur and I as to why cochlear implants would have some correlation. Having read from you of someone with whom it's actually worked, I find that absolutely great and hope others with the more severe aspects of it are able to benefit as well. Again, thanks for jumping me into looking this up!

Thanks, pinky! Tyger: only very marginally, truth be told. The combination of the vibration and the suction was definitely a new sensation to me, coming from a toy, so it was neat; I'll give it that. I ended up taking the bullet out and using that directly on my clit. Even that didn't bring me "over the edge." I think it's good to have the different "levels" of reviewers -- the Old Timers and the Newbies. So, you're more apt to either buy or dismiss a toy based on the pros and cons written by that reviewer. It's kinda like finding an author in your favorite genre that you really like -- you get used to their style and like what you read. I think that even if we as writers sometimes feel we've gotten into a funk or didn't write a stellarly-exciting review, our style is still there, our honest opinions are still there, and it's not as bad as we may think it is. Besides, the next one'll come along, where something completely hilarious happened during testing... and we'll leap from that rut and get a good laugh at ourselves.
