This toy is constructed as two connected plastic balls covered in a velvety type of latex, including the string that connects them. There are little weights inside the balls and they clunk around as you move them. Just holding them, they feel kind of neat. The latex was very creamy feeling and the "clunking" is a unique feeling. So, to try them out we lubed them up with some water-based lubricant and popped them in. Again, I'll comment that I do not like non-phallic insertable toys and I maintain that even now. Having these inserted and having them "disappear" into my vagina (not including the safety string) was not a good feeling. I did not like them at all. It's just a heavy uncomfortable feeling like something got lost and needed to come out. We didn't manage to get me moving around much as they made me pretty uneasy and I was ready for them to come out about as soon as they went in. Still, I'd say they were worth the experience and they may make a good toy for someone who is brand new to sex toys and want to try something "familiar-looking" or someone who is into toys that are a challenge to handle. Doc: The first thing I wanted to do when I picked up these Ben Wa Balls was shake them in my hand like dice and say "daddy needs a new pair of pants." They feel cool in your hand. Maybe, as Eris says, not so much in your vagina. Not possessing a vagina, I wouldn't know... but they sounded cool! They were fun to push in, and fun to pull back out with the little rip cord upon urgent request. Legend has it that these little goodies were invented in ancient China. Or something. That may be. But, in the year 2007, in the verdant hills of the Pacific northwest, we were kinda hoping for something a little more interesting.

We found that pretty amusing, I do have to say! I've had one other experience with anal beads in my life and I liked them pretty well then. I also think it's kind of funny that other reviews mention "don't forget the lube!" so I decided I would also say that, as it may just not be an obvious for someone who hasn't tried anal toys before. Doc: I can offer the perspective of "the driver" in this review. These unfortunately named Asian Anal Eggs were a lot of fun to play with. Lots of makeup, well made up actresses, "Fabio-esque" men and plenty of pseudo-kinky sex. There was no mistaking that there was going to be some harmless sex-slavery and some entertaining of "dirty" thoughts. This movie as it all with a pretty gloss for anyone who might be considering kinky ideas for the first time. The plot is linear, with pretty girls who like to wear makeup and who all photograph very well. The lighting is realistic and everyone is flesh colored and sexy. I think the premise is definitely for people who may be interested in some D/S kink without the threat of anyone actually being abused in any way. This movie contains some dirty talk, a little bondage, a little sex slavery, fantasy, all with a tinge of safe "kink-ery." However, if you're into hardcore, dirty sex with a lot of spanking, this may not be the movie for you. Doc: "Altered Minds" is an example of a movie that may have been better off letting go of the high concept and just sticking to the basics.. hot girls, good video quality, and some energetic fucking! As I recall, the plot had something to do with Jesse Capelli being a sex slave to a rich guy, and having an imaginary evil doppelganger who acted out her fantasies. I think at some point the doppelganger became real, or something, but by that time I was drooling over two hot-bodied naked blond chicks. She could have morphed in Winston Churchill and I don't think it would have lent the movie any less credibility. My request to "Altered Minds" producer Jenna Jameson... quit trying to make all those fine nasty babes remember lines and "act." This movie was better with the sound turned down. Enthusiastic viewers will make their own dialog, anyway! Overall, worth the viewing for pretty girls and very pretty light. The flesh tones looked like flesh, and everyone has been working out. Nice.

Eris: The Doc is telling me to write the review while it's "still fresh" and all I can think is "wha..?" I would recommend this toy to anyone for a variety of reasons. One, it looks cool. Two, it lights up when it's vibrating, which is also cool. Third, ohhhhhhhhhhhhyeah. Since it has dual vibrators, you can have your penetration and your clitoral stimulation too. Or you can use one of the vibrators on someone's nipples, which I highly recommend as well. Maybe not even your own! It's small, it's pretty darn quiet too. I'm not sure the little ridges on the big vibrator do anything, but it sure does look neat. I'd say this is an awesome toy for use either by yourself or with a friend! Nina Hartley's Anal Kinksters #1 Adam and Eve Doc: The first time I whacked off to a Nina Hartley movie, Ronald Reagan was starting his second term in office. She and I are the same age, which doesn't necessarily bode well for successful wanking a couple of decades later. Plus, this is an Adam and Eve movie, which in my book means lame attempts at plot, and a weird Cinemax-style porn experience. In short, the movie was everything I expected, and less. The Eris and I were excited to watch some free porn together, but within a few minutes of the first scene (apparently Fabio and Courtney Love, filmed under heat lamps) we were reaching for the fast forward button. We kept the remote close by for the remainder of the movie. Nina Hartley does a voiceover, seemingly from somewhere in the corner of the room… a corner without microphones. The movie, rather than showing us flesh tones, bathes everything in a weird red-orange light that is probably meant to suggest sophistication but ends up being one of the primary turn-offs of the entire sordid affair. I guess that this movie is supposed to be "couples porn," maybe a nudge-nudge, wink-wink way for us guys to get our girls to try a little anal. Well, The Eris and I are a couple, we love the porn AND the anal, and we wanted nasty girls being fucked hard in the ass. No such luck. I have to give it a thumb, and a penis, down. Eris: Hm. Ok, we fast-forwarded through a lot of scenes because it looked like they were just running through the motions with as much kink packed in as possible. I have to say that when they brought up the two-guys-on-one-girl, I thought we were going to be ok. Unfortunately the fake bondage gear meant nothing, the men looked bored and the girl was TOTALLY faking it. This movie had potential for someone who is lacking in any porn experience or who wants to believe that kink is "romantic" somehow. I was hoping that noisy girl in the bondage gear was going to get a good slap, but no such luck.
