Hi Rob, I believe this board software has some type of tool of some sort to keep minors out, but its really only a age verification question. The credit card thing is about the only way to keep them out, but I think it would also give the illusion that this is some kind of porn site...and its not. I think the best way is to keep a close eye on who's posting, and have the regulars feel empowered to "report" questionable postings. I ran this similar message board software for a while...something you could do is only enable certain boards to those who have posted XX amount of posts. So for example..until you get 50 or 100 quality posts under your belt you get full access to member pictures, gallery, or more of the "sensitive" parts of the board, but for newbies, only allow boards like "pre-sale questions" "ask an expert" etc. Might not keep out the minors, but it may make them work a lot harder to get in. Chances are they'd lose interest and move on.
