Yes it is cheating. Not in physical action, but in intimacy. If she ever found out, she would feel the same way she would have if she would have found you in bed with someone else. Probably even worse. There would have been no physical, all mental and emotional, and most women (not all) find a breach in trust at that level even worse than the physical one.
