Members square
Due to new duties at work, I had to fill out a random drug test consent form. No problem, I thought. I don't use any illegal stuff. Then I am cautioned as I turn in the paperwork, "By the way, if you ever take prescription drugs, make sure you have the prescription available to show to the drug testers."That bugged me. To me, that is overstepping a line, and becomes an invasion of privacy. The mere presence of a prescription drug in my system should not automatically raise the suspicion that I am using it illegally, and force me to jump through some hoops to prove that I am not. This just strikes me as a bit of a witch hunt, but I guess the people who make the rules do not share my opinion. As this was happening, I had just received some sample Viagras from the doctor. I obtained them legitimately, but had no prescription to show to the drug testers if necessary. I have since gotten a small prescription filled, so no longer an issue, but this has fuelled my annoyance with this whole issue.
Members angelkisses98
It is annoying, but a lot of prescription drugs can show up as an illegal substance in your system. I know opiates are usually high on that list, and that can be found in over the counter cough meds as well.
Members ToyQueen
One of the other contributors to this are amphetamines. Many are legitimately prescribed, but with the problem of meth as prevalent as it is, you have to show that you are using legal medications. My ex was one of those people... Members pappyld04
I doubt that Viagra would flag you on any test. That is one I have never seen, but don't hold me to facts on that. Use the old CYA manual and you should be good to go!
