I've always heard if you slip the clerk a $20, you can get an upgraded room...but feel like that's more of a luxury or full service type hotel.Anyone with any tips/advice? I'm not sure the Hyatt Place is the same as the Hyatt Hotels that I've stayed at, but if they are the Top couple of floors are reserved floors with more amenities, and attention than the regular hotel floors. These are Hyatt Regency Club (no membership, just a name). You can only get onto the floors with a special key that will allow the elevator to even go up to the floors.
