Who Needs The Strip Club?

I was looking on one of my wifes favorite lingerie websites and came across an area for dvds and videos. I know they don't sell porn, but I was wondering what was in that section. I found out they sell Stripper Poles, and instructional videos on using your pole for exercise and erotic pursuits. So I am asking:

Would you put on up for yourself/your SO?

I talked with my wife about it and she said when we own our own home, sure. She thinks it would be sexy and fun, I must say, for never having been to a strip club, this is as close as I will ever get and I think it would be amazing. I know she can dance and has the persona to pull this off, now I just have to get house shopping!

We are in the same boat about owning one when we get a house. We do own a place now, but it is only two bedrooms, and my husband and I have to share one with our baby, and the boys get the other. So, when we get our own room, We both agreed to get one and put it up. I love to dance (as long as no one but me and my husband can see hehe) . It's also a great way to lose a little extra weight here and there, from what I've read.

I love the idea of having a dance pole...but as I can not dance...AT ALL..not an option for us. Hubby has asked me to dance for him and I have tried, but it was a no go.he has never said anything negative to me, he is too nice. But I feel like an idiot cus I know I can not do it.

Any way I think the poles are a great idea for thoes that can dance...good luck.

Howard, not to be rude, but no, I won't go to a strip joint and nor will my wife. We have religious objections and won't do it. I do like your advice on road rules and such. I studied self defense for years and know most of what you have already said and few other things for being safe in parking lots, and other places.

WMS, you can get the videos and give it shot. You may not have the best natual moves, but you can always try to make your own routine or get an exercise routine and do that for him on the pole. He doesn't need to know it's also your work out for when he is gone!

Sylvina, we rent and are looking for a home to buy and we love the idea of the pole. I can pm anyone the link if they are interested in shopping around for a pole and some exercise/instrucitonal videos. Any other opinions?

Oh and Howard, would you put one in your home for your lady?

Well I am sure into it... I actually have taken my husband to a strip club, it wasn't your average ones either. If there is such a thing it was your "higher class" strip club. Heck the cover charge just to get in is 40 dollars per person, the only types of drinks you can their were soda, tea, and water since it was a full nude club. The women were amazing and yes in fact I got a lap dance to, well there they are couch type dances!

As far as a pole, hehe I have stolen a pole of my children gym set outside and brought it into the room, and have used it, of course I have also charged my hubby for a lap dance, and if he didn't have the money, well no lap dance for him, and he better tip me to  or punishment later. hehe I will have to find that site now where they carry them and see how much they are, can they be taken down to? If not I am sure my husband can come up with something. :P

Ive seen ones that are "travel" ones, that don't need bolted to the ceiling or floor, and I've seen the ones that are to be bolted to the ceiling and floor. (Think I'd trust those ones more) The others are just kinda like jammed so the cieling and the floor parts are so tight, it can be danced on. I'll have to find the site again.

I am all up for a pole! Same thing for us though, have to wait til we buy a house. I enjoy the strip clubs as well. Girls that enjoy what they are doing and having fun at the dancing and stripping is what makes the club though. Went to my first all nude the other night....actually suggested that rather than a dance club to hubby.

thanks toocan.

One reason I might go for a pre-packaged pole rather than Howards suggestion is the different features. There are some poles that will retract similar to a shower pole, some that have easy up and down options, so you can store them while you aren't using it, and some that are just dang cool. I found some the other day that were lighted. The pole exterior is a glass composite like Plexiglass, and the center of the pole is a colored neon tube that you can select from a big variety of colors.

I think Howard's plan is an excellent one, and if you check around it's probably cheaper. For my $$$ I prefer one that is not a permanent fixture as of yet. With 3 kids in the house all under the age of 7, I need a pole that can be taken down and hidden when not in use.

Very good point Howard, I think the retractable poles are a little scary. I would prefer one that is a solid pole with the ability to go up and down quickly. The lighted poles are cut to the inch of your specifications. the website even tells you how to measure your space and find the pole that will be ideal for your home. My vote would definately be for a solid one piece pole and some of the new hardware for quick set up and take down.
