Between the security of childhood and insecurity of second childhood, we find a fascinating breed of humanity called: RIG HANDS.......... They come in all shapes and sizes, in dirty coveralls, in court, in love, in dept. Girls love them, towns tolerate them and the companies that supports them. A RIG hand is laziness with a pack of cards, Bravery with a Tattered copy of playboy and protector of the world on a six pack of beer. He has energy of a tortoise, the slyness of a fox, stories of a sea captain, the sincerity of a born liar and the aspirations of a Casinova....... Some interest are: Girls, Females, Dames, Broads, Chicks and the opposite sex........ He dislikes answering letters, overtime, safety meetings and warm beer. No one else can cram into one pocket. A dirty due rag, a pack of crushed cigarettes, a picture of his girlfriend, a comb, a church key, a old boarding card and whats left of his last paycheck. He likes to spend money on girls, booze, girls, on horses, girls, some football pools, girls and the rest foolishly. A RIG hand is a magical creature, you can get him out of your home, but not out of your heart, you can scratch him from your chopper list but not from your mind, He is your one and only pissed off pain in the ass. But all his shattered dreams become whole again, when he climbs on that shore bound chopper or that plane headed home, looks back and says fu...that Sh... !!!!
