Wish I had the money to meet some of the people I talk with here...but it's always fun to dream!!!

Potato Cheese Soup 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 small onion, chopped 2 cups water 1 tsp salt 6 cups milk 6 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted 4 Tbsp flour 1/4 tsp white pepper 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped 8 oz Swiss cheese, grated Place potatoes, onion, salt, and water in large pot. Simmer until potatoes are soft. Mix butter, flour and pepper in a small bowl. Mash potatoes to consistency desired (I use my immersion blender, and puree it). Add milk and flour mixture. Stir over medium heat until think and bubbly. Stir in parsley. Stir in grated cheese, turn off heat, and stir until cheese is melted.

Is it possible that BP has some sort of OCD, and doesn't like to touch things that he "thinks" are dirty? Maybe a shower together so he knows things are clean before you PUT his hands there???

I agree with first warning the poster. Sometimes we need to step back, and think about what we want to say. I know if it's a subject that I feel strongly about, I wait to post. Then I find someone else says what I'm thinking. Or I choose to say it in a different way, so it's less...inflammatory. If those posts continue however, I believe that you have no choice but to block the post and/or the poster. Thanks for asking our opinion, Rob. That means a lot!

So, one thought I have, and this may be part of why I brought this topic up here... There was recently a man who decided to drink his wife's excess breast milk--only breast milk. His point was, in part, to empty the freezer. The other thought I had was this: is it REALLY that odd (or wrong) to drink breast milk, when we think nothing of drinking cow or goat milk? We know breast milk is nutritious. So why is it so taboo for adults to drink it?!? Come on, my friends, let's discuss this!

I agree that there are different strokes for different folks. That's why I wanted to bring this topic up on this forum...I thought it have some interesting points of view.

I'm sorry you haven't been able to get your question answered. I have NO IDEA what would be better, and that is why I didn't respond. I know there are plenty of people here who could give you an answer. But I also know that sometimes on weekends there are fewer people here. It is also possible that the staff on the store side haven't been in. The site says the phones are manned 8am to 4:40pm Monday-Thursday, and 8am to 3pm on Friday. Those times are ET. I tend to forget that when I call... Good luck finding what you're looking for. I'm sure that someone will be able to answer your question.
