Lots has happened in my life over the last few months, as many of you know. I moved back near my family and was starting over newly single again. I kept the job I love so much, and my awesome co workers whom I love even more. Things went along quietly for a few weeks, and I was getting settled. Then my dog (my best buddy) got cancer and had to be put down. Major sadness. Next my son, just home from the Army, found his wife had taken their child and moved in with another man. My son (age 26) was crushed and confused. He and my grandson (almost three) moved in with me. I felt they needed family support and consistancy in their lives right now. My ex (his dad) lives two miles away, and is there when our son needs him. Not long after, my ex husband, father of my children, who I had been married to for 28 years had a heart attack. He died twice but they where able to bring him back each time, and he had an emergency triple bypass. He is in his early 50's and very active, not at all who you would picture this happening to. The kids and grandkids where upset, unsettled and needed a lot of reassurance. It made us all take inventory of our lives. Now, all of this seems so depressing and sad, doesn't it? But I have always said everything happens for a reason. Think about this a moment. When I had to give up the undying loyalty and companionship of my dog, I was given my son, and my grandson. My son knows me well, but my grandson thinks I can walk on water! I have that poor child so buffalo'ed!! Whatever I do amazes him. Who wouldn't get a boost from that?! They have been the best medicine for my bruised heart. If I had still been living on the farm with my SO, I would not have been here for my son, and not much later, the rest of my family when their dad had his heart attack. I was right here, able to get to them within minutes, and comfort my children. In the mix of all this, we where blessed with anohter healthy grandson. It seems our family was all brought together because we all where going to need each other. In the midst of this, we where reminded of lifes miricles and blessings. (baby Logan) As crazy as this sounds, I am so grateful for everything that has happened. But I have had enough excitement and suprises, good and bad, to last me for awhile! Let God know I got the message, ok??

A pox on anyone who would put a declawed cat outdoors. How cruel. Bless you for doing something for Mr. Bones. He is a handsome fellow, and you have said what a friendly kitty he is. He will find a happy home in no time. When I was looking at the house pictures earlier (another thread) My grandson said 'there is her kitty!' and sure enough, there is Mr. Bones on the bottom left of one of the pictures! Just to clarify: I was in my bedroom. Grandson asked what I was doing, and I said looking at pictures of my friends new house. He asked if he could look at her house, too. I don't TT with him in the room!

Angel, I love the house! What a wonderful place to raise your new baby!! I love the bow window in the living room. I had so much fun putting little holiday secnes in mine. Do you have a fireplace in the living room, also? Looks as though you might. Awesome! The hardwood floors in both rooms are beautiful, and the view from your dining room is so relaxing. I am kind of an outdoors girl and like woods and trees, so maybe that is more a me thing then a you thing, but none the less, I love it! The kitchen is lovely, too. Beautiful light wood cabnets, and you have so many of them!! You are going to enjoy cooking in there so much. Green with envy here!! There isn't one thing not to love about the house, Angel. The yard, the house, the views, all so perfect. I wish you many happy times there!

My kitty Meg has a large, long poofy tail. She is very proud of it, and swishes it back and forth at every possible moment. (Baby's got back! ) Last night I dreamed a woman pulled Megs tail off! I was so angry, and was telling her off in no uncertian terms! I woke up with my son in the doorway telling me Meg was fine, she was sleeping on the bed with me. *never mind!* One thing I remember yelling was "What kind of person pulls the tail off a CAT??" What kind of person, indeed!

It was the first time with a guy after my divorce. we where hot and heavy into it, standing next to the bed. He was undressing me, and got me down to my panties. I am so sorry, 12Gauge. What a terrible thing to happen. There are many who feel as you do, if this where to happen to them. I know I don't want to live that way, and I don't want to put my kids through that.

Hello and welcome to TT! You are in the right place to read, learn and explore. We all started out just like you and your husband, so don't feel alone. I am sure many will have suggestions to get you started.

We each have our own place, and see each other about every other day. We talk every day. We spend a couple days a week together, meaning late afternoon to the next morning when we both go to work. When that happens, I make dinner, we eat with his kid(s) and we spend the evening talking or watching a movie. Go to bed early and make love and talk until we fall asleep. Very nice. We spend every other weekend together doing couple/famliy things. doing a local art fair or festival, visiting parents, making love all afternoon, that kind of thing. Not married, and seems to work for us right now. May get married in the future......long into the future, though. Yes, a very good question!
