Okay, so last night I spent NYE at home alone and took a poke at attempting my first g-spot orgasm. Until now, I never knew that there could be anything other than a clitoral orgasm. So I read a few articles and got out some new toys. After maybe half an hour, I did have an orgasm with very little clitoral stimulation. It was not the most intense one ever and no squirting happened (definitely did have that "bearing down" feeling), but it was very different from my normal clitoral orgasm and I think it could be better once I stop concentrating so hard on the "operating instructions" and just relax a little. Now here's the weird thing. I woke up this morning (about 16 hours later) and felt as if that particular spot in my vagina was in a heightened state of arousal. As I lay still in bed, I kept having these periodic little waves of pleasure that originated from the spot and washing up my vagina and pelvic area in general. And I wasn't doing anything to make them happen, either. The best way I can think of to describe it is that it was like the goosebumpy feeling you get when someone plays with your hair or runs their fingers lightly across your skin. I've never had this happen before. So, as this is happening (it actually still hasn't stopped), I've been thinking about something that has always been a mystery to me. Since I was about 8 years old--way before I even knew what an orgasm was, of course--I've been having orgasms in my sleep. They happen maybe once a month or not even that frequently, and the dreams don't even have to be about sex. There is no physical stimulation of any kind. It's just the most intense type of internal orgasm I ever have and I feel it from head to toe. (It's like the big daddy of the little waves of pleasure I've been feeling this morning.) When I wake up, my vagina is contracting and I feel a bit cross-eyed and very tingly all over--almost like when your leg falls asleep and the blood is rushing back into it. This phenomenon has always baffled me, because I have always had a hard time cumming with a partner. I can get there, but it often just feels like hard work and it takes forever and all of my muscles are tense afterward. So...can anyone explain to me how I can have my best and most intense orgasms in my sleep without any external stimulation? And am I the only woman who has these? I've never heard anyone talk about them. Sorry about all the blathering. As you can tell, I'm feeling a bit...uh...introspective this morning.
