You didn't offend me in any way. Yes, obviously it's very hard to get across the way in which we convey our conversations on TT !!! I started out by kind of joking with you that my sex life wasn't nearly as exciting as most people's on here. (which is very true !!! LOL ) I also said that you made me think of Hannibal Lector in "Silence of the Lambs". That's true too---that's the scene that immediately popped into my head when I read your post. It wasn't a bad thing. (I'm like him a little bit minus the killing and eating people !! LOL ) I meant that it's so easy for me to analyze everyone else's life. I'm good at it too. I probably should've been a psychiatrist (or at the very least a Sex Therapist !! ) I was saying that it's hard for me to analyze MYSELF. I know at some point I would've talked about my affairs. I suppose I do want to. That was the whole point of me watching this show. I've blocked this out inside myself for a long, long time.Please don't think I was ever mad at you---You've become a great friend on here. (Wasn't my description of my sexcapades super hot ??? THIS THREAD was about my secret life !! I did go all out here and bare my soul you know ! Although, there are a couple things I haven't shared--have to keep some mystery to it, you know.....I do feel pretty naked now too. Well-- as naked as I think I'm allowed to get on here LOL I did watch last weeks episode. I will write about it when I have more time. I'll give you a couple hints about it--The first half involved a married MINISTER who ran his own church---he has an affair with a married woman. (just goes to show you that those Religious people need sex just as much as the rest of us !! LOL...) The second half was about a woman who got heavily into "sexting" with an old boyfriend. She sent dirty texts and dirty pictures to him. There was quite a twist to it--her husband found out and then a short time later HE was involved in his own affair !! We tried to work it out and while we've had lots of ups and downs things have improved 100% for us. He's a wonderful husband and a great father. Well, it's taken me a long, long time to realize that happiness does not come from things or other people. Happiness comes from within ourselves. I suppose for a long time I was looking for something to fill a huge void within myself. Some people fill that void with alcohol, drugs, shopping or extramarital affairs (as you mentioned in a previous post) The best way to explain the feeling I got from the affairs was that it was like a drug "fix" for me. I got a high off it. I craved that feeling more and more. It was such an intense feeling-- It was exactly like a drug addiction and I probably had the same type of feelings that drug addicts get. They need that high more and more. When I found happiness within myself then my life changed. It's a constant up and down though and like anything else marriage is a lot of work. Tyger--yes the show is great and it does show that there are usually 2 sides to everything. Ready---LOL--NO Oprah is not even in the show !! (She just produces it... ) I actually had to post a comment on the OWN website on one of the shows Unfaithful threads. (I've NEVER done that before--posted a comment on a website--aside from this one) There were several comments that Oprah was losing her morals and would possibly be losing more viewers respect as she was choosing to show "These types" of shows . Of course you'll notice that the people who wrote these comments are still watching the show....LOL...It's like what my mother used to do with certain shows or certain books I had. She would watch through a show or read through my books just to find that ONE thing that suggested it was about something inappropriate--like sex--so she could lecture me on how bad it was !! She wanted to read it and WANTED to watch those shows, but didn't want anyone to know she was enjoying it... That's what these comments are about. They secretly WANT to watch it....... And your right happiness does comes form within, and we all have the power to make ourselves happy & fulfilled. Sometimes we just take a round about way of getting there, but we can all get there. WOW! Thank you, love facts. I have watched this show but have not made much time to continue to watch mostly because it doesn't directly effect me, and there are only so many hrs in a day. However, if I had more time I'd most likely watch it, why not learn from one anothers victories and mistakes. AND.... I believe there a 3 sides to every story1. Hers2.
