Ah yesssss...the tales of hot, horny roommates! Who hasn't heard of some "roommate" tale where the girls were sharing more than a bathroom! This Paul Thomas flick has his usual checklist of characteristics - a unique story-line, hot women, interesting sex scenes and LOTS of sex! However, does this flick measure up to Thomas' usual standard? I submit no.

I'll admit it - I am a big fan of porn with purpose. Now don't get me wrong, I love the "just fuck em'" action that many porns have, but I particularly enjoy a movie that has a little more to do in between the sex. I feel as the sex becomes "in context" in that manner and henceforth, more interesting to watch. On the flipside of that, the sex scenes, women and men still have to be HOT to hold my attention. When these two things can be combined I find the porn extra notable.

In this film a class reunion is coming up and some hot roomies are reminiscent of their days sharing a couch (and orgies while on the couch!) All 3 main players are HOT, and 2 of the 3 have nice, big breasts (which for ME is HOT, HOT, HOOOTT!). The story is sort of confusing - it is done in a sort of flashback mode (which I hate in ANY type of film) and I became easily confused on what was supposed to be happening. The cinematography lacked a little for me - it was sort of hazy in a way - but not too much that I could not enjoy the numerous pussy-munching lesbo scenes! There was one scene that confused the heck out of me where a woman, dressed as a man (big dildo and all) is watching a sex show and the performer discovers it is a girl and gets angry. Then there is some sort of police bust and a confusing situation where the sex worker is spray painted. DIdn't get the context of that - but oh well.

All in all the film is about average. The sex is varied (although there is more girl/girl than anything). In two scenese the actress (and actor in the other) do not look AT ALL aroused or interested in the sex. I prefer some realistic enjoyment - and in those scenes (you will know it when you see it) there was an evident lack of enthusiasm. However, the other scenes make up for it. There is girl/girl, threesome girl, girl guy, anal, lots of oral - and a ass finger-fuck that the girl REALLY enjoyed!

Let's just say that while the film is OK, I would still want to be the 4th Roomie present for the midnight romps!

While my interpretation of the film was a bit different than yours, Mikayla, I have to say I agree with you that the three main women are HOT!! I loved this flick (so did my husband) and it'll be watched again and again, I'm sure. I definitely recommend it.

Let me ask you though, as a fellow reviewer of this movie, did you at all find yourself aggravated in the first FFF threesome when the blonde woman was getting her pussy licked by one of the other girls and she was silent, not moving her hips or doing much of anything? She eventually gets going - but come'on here now, she should have been WRITHING!!!!

I loved this flick too, but I have to agree on the lack of enthusiasm in some of the scenes.

BTW, I opened my mail to discover this gem and instantly laughed. I through this movie at my roomate and said "akward!" Hahahaaa! We were both laughing so hard!

Sorry, but I don't remember there being a "less than enthusiastic" response from any woman in that scene -- I guess I'll have to watch that again!! (Oh, woe is me! )

Watch it with your roomate!

I have seen a good handful of porns that take the approach that the movie Roommates took; a full length feature film that incorporates storyline and sex. The thing that set Roommates apart was the story and the amount that the porn scenes were woven into the story. In general, its pretty common to see movies where the porn scenes seem too spontaneous and out of place with the story of the film. It appears to be very forced. However with roommates this was not the case. One of the most distinguishing features was the very complex interweaving of porn scenes into the plot. This made it almost like a soap opera more than a porn. For me this was a little bit of a bad thing because when I watch porn I am usually more interested in seeing people fuck than seeing why they fuck or what happens because they fuck. But I know there are people out there who are interested in this and want more back story and lead up. This movie was be a great choice for your assemblage.

The entire film was done pretty well over all, with somewhat modern editing and graphic inserts. The acting was atrocious (but who watches porn for the acting). The girls were hot, shaved and of all different types. Many different combinations of partners were explored, straight, lesbian, two on one, and almost one gay scene. The plot was interesting, complex, emotional and had a good twist (as I stated above, almost soap opera-esque). One problem I had with this movie, or it could be a highlight for some, was the relatively short sex scenes. Throughout the movie there was never quite long enough of a scene for me to get into it before it went back to the story and bad acting.

But this is really the only problem overall with what is otherwise a very good film.

I've liked everything I've seen from Vivid so far and I'll continue to watch their films. They're very unique for me as far as editing, casting and styling goes for porn. Not to mention, my roommate laughed quite hard when I showed her this one. A little laughter goes a long way in my book!
