So, I hear on the news tonight (3-30), that there's been a really terrible act of vandalism at a Houston playground. Some asshole burned it down!! Most of the toys there were plastic, and it's a total loss. They think it's arson (duh).

Here's the deal (for vandals/pyros): if you want to burn something down, try doing some yard work, rake a shitload of weeds, leaves, sticks, and whatever, and burn that shit down!! This way, you're helping around the house, burning legally, and not destroying stuff that's not even yours to destroy!!

It only took the city 2 weeks to build it, but it took a helluva lot longer to get the funding for the playground in the first place.

So many families living in Houston live in apartments & duplexes. They don't have a good place for their kids to play, and some idiots have to ruin the fun of CHILDREN. For what? To say that they're COOL?? Gimme a break!!!

Leave where the kids play ALONE!!! How would you like it if someone did that at your house, or to your siblings???? Gawd!! Stupid people really bug me!!! (I was gonna say burn me, but I guess that would be a bad pun right now!) I really hope they catch these people.

Just my opinion but both crimes mentioned so far should be death penalty offenses. The victims of both are incapable of doing anything to prevent this. As such there should be greater consideration into the cowardice of the perpetrators. Tyger I'm glad you chose a better word there. Even as a pun that may have set wrong with some.

This is one thing I have NEVER been able to understand. What the hell do some stupid people think!! I mean hell go burn down your own yard or home etc... It is true if they catch them it will be some sob story, they will never pay for it and this just shows what type of society this is anymore. This is actually very sad but it is the world we live in anymore. I am right there with you Tyger !!
