Hello all... I actually returned a couple days ago from a much needed hiatus... Its nice to see some familiar names, and some new names as well... It seems though the Forums have slowed in conversation, again... I hope conversation begins to flow again, as I believe nothing stimulates the mind as well as some sexy conversation... I hope the New Year brings a sexy new year to all here within the forums of TT...

Rant ~ Tax season is upon Us, and though I've paid my fair share and more, I'm sure my Uncle Sam will only demand more... Grrrrr.... Rave ~ Its a New Year, so with the New Year brings New Hope...

No, I don't believe I'll take that trip again down the aisle... I guess due to a messy, nasty divorce, it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth... I love the companionship of a woman, I just don't know if a piece a paper proves anything... As for adopting another child, no I wouldn't think of it... I could and probably would love her children, should she have children, but adoption, No...

For the most part, from my own perspective, it would be the person which is married... Years back before I was ever married, I was dating a young woman, gorgeous woman, and she told me she was single... I had no reason to doubt her, but as we began seeing more of each other, some things just didn't seem right...The normal things, phone calls only at certain hrs, I couldnt pick her up at her home, it was just too weird... I asked her about it, she admitted she was married, "but separated"... I ended it, too many single women to have such headaches... I would never have an affair with a married woman, and I am a one woman man, when I've been in any relationship... Thus my belief, its on the married individual, whether man or woman, who is primarily at fault for an illicit affair... some may argue, what if the single person solicits the illicit affair... Nah, my answer remains the same...

Hmmm, is there such a thing as a "best breakup"...lol, I'm not so sure... I don't believe I've ever had a good break up, isn't someone always hurt... However, my worst was probably my divorce, whereas I was married for 20+ years...During those 20 years we separated 4 times, so I guess we both knew divorce was only a matter of time....but the divorce itself was messy, divorce attorneys, grrrr, not my favorite people.... My divorce wasn't due to cheating spouses, more as we lost communication between one another...Our children were grown, and we no longer had any common ground... I immersed myself in my work, which I still do... As for a best break up... I dont know, maybe high school, the only girl to ever break up with me, which actually made me happy cause I didnt know how to break with her...lol....

Tyger I'm sorry you and your ex DH were not able to find common ground in hopes to save your marriage... I know out takes both husband and wife to continuously work at their marriage if it's to last... How have you handled the single scene... it has pros and cons... I wish you well...

The only time I have found this to be an issue, is during a lunch date, as either myself or the woman I'm out with may still be within our work day... While out on a dinner date, I usually leave my phone in the car, or turn my phone on complete silence, no vibrations, nada...and if I do need to contact someone, I'll excuse myself to make the call, briefly of course...

Age is but a number... I've dated some since being back on the single scene...I've dated women my own age, 5 years younger than me, 10 years younger than me, and 20 years younger than me... I have had more in common with women closer to my own age than not... Though dating a young woman can be fun, I do prefer a woman closer to my own age... Oh, I've never dated a woman or had a relationship with a woman older than myself, not knowingly anyway... not that I've avoided her, it just hasn't happened...

Probably one of my earliest memories as a child which has anything to do with Our American History, was hearing JFK had been shot, I was just a toddler, but I do recall seeing my Mothers reaction as the TV announced the news.... I remember Texaco gasoline at 29 cents a gallon (this was in the South at the time), I remember going into a grocery store and trading a RC cola bottle for some candy cigarettes, not rolling up your car windows as you went into the store much less locking your front door at night. I remember Henry Aaron of the Atlanta Braves breaking Babe Ruths Home Run record vs, the LA Dodgers I remember the Apollo XI lunar landing.. I remember Elvis was/is the king of Rock n Roll... I remember Jimmy Carter and his flawed presidency which led to the Iran hostage taking, only to be released on Ronald Reagan's 1st day as President. I guess I go back a bit...
