  1. I nursed my oldest for 3 months, and my youngest for 2 years. Breastfeeding is totally draining. It is like I said most men expect a full time mom and a full time lover.
  2. So you don't do the evil eye thing? I am still not sure what that is or what it is about but my stepmom, who is Mexican, touches damn near every kid under 2 that she comes around. I asked her once and she said it had to do with the evil eye. Never did get total explanation on it lol.
  3. Welcome to the forums, have fun :-)
  4. RC4BLUE, that is so very well stated. I wish more men and women were more open to what they actually feel, sexually and romantically. I honestly think that some people are scared not to fit into a box. Like if they aren't under one label or another, then they won't have an identity.
  5. Plenty of Fish or POF is a free online dating site. http://www.pof.com/
  6. Yes! One of exs was the only person to ever make me feel like I was getting close to squirting. It was totally on accident the first time then he realized what it did to me and every time we had sex from then on he used his fingers on me that way and OMG! I don't miss him but damn I miss the sex lol
  7. If they compliment me on my nails then that would be different, the cashier just leaned over her register and grabbed K's hand half way through ringing up her purchase. K said that the cashier hadn't said anything to her at all before this happened. Children are totally different. Even though I don't particularly like to be touched, at all, I don't get mad if I child does just touches me. And I have to say I love little kiddie hugs lol
  8. So a friend of mine had a cashier grab her hand and pull it toward her today to see her nails better. That made me wonder what everyone's opinion is on random strangers just reaching out and grabbing and touching other people. I am not at all meaning in a sexual way. The touching I mean is randomly touching someone's pregnant belly, reaching out to touch someone's hair, etc. I personally think it is truly bad form. When I was pregnant I hated people just randomly reaching out and touching my belly. I also have had people reach out and touch my hair randomly commenting how long it is (well not now but it used to be fairly long) and actually one lady pulled on my braid to see if it was real or not. I am not a fan of being touched, not even by friends and family. I have my bubble and you have yours, I think people should stay in their own bubble LOL
  9. LMAO The last time I shaved my legs was the day before I hung out with you and your lovely lady. Honestly I just use whatever is in the bathroom, because my darling toddler rarely lets me shower alone to be able to shave. I used to use the Venus razors, but now I just use what ever Mom bought.
  10. Three of my neighbors are very nosy about why I am single, but since they sorta helped raise I guess they feel they are allowed? We actually just got new neighbors across the street and they are pretty cool so far, and they like my annoying dogs. I only have one neighbor I really don't like, and when I say I really don't like him I mean it. He used to have pit bull (now don't get me wrong I love dogs, all dogs, but this pit was raised to kill smaller animals) that one day literally pulled my screen door almost off the hinges and tried to kill one of my cats in my house in front of my children, my sister's children, and the neighbors' children. The dog did almost $600 worth of damage to my living room, and an additional $500 in damage to the stuff in the living room. Add that up and it is $1,100 in damages, not including the mental damage it did to the kids, watching my sister and mother try to beat the dog off of my cat. He had his girlfriend give us $100, and told us we better not call the cops. Well we called the cops, and he called my mother, my sister, and myself all kinds of names. About a month later our big dog, who lived outside, ended up dead. We have no proof it was him, just like we have no proof that he is the one who keeps driving through our yard but we still think he is the one responsible. Also we keep having stuff go missing from our yard, again we are fairly sure it is him we just can't prove it. We think it is him because the only time stuff like that happens is when he is actively living with his Grandmother, who owns the house down the road from us. Other than him I love my neighbors, even his grandmother who I call Granny.
  11. Wendybird, why don't you try to write him a letter? Sometimes an old fashioned letter can get your point across better than talking.
  12. I was on plenty of fish for a while. I met my youngest's daughter's father on there. I had a couple of good dates from that site, and didn't really meet any weirdos. My daughter's father was good at first, but yeah that didn't end pretty... My advice to anyone using online dating is the same for RL dating, be smart and if you feel uncomfortable then don't do it.
  13. It is raining here in East Texas again... I don't know how much more water we can take. My Uncle's house, in Sealy, TX, currently has water less than 2 inches from being in his house. Everything he had in his outbuildings on the property is flooded and his chickens are living on his roof and his doves are living in the top half of their bird cage (it is 22' tall).
  14. I was born in East Texas, and I currently live in another part of East Texas lol
  15. I don't think that most men understand how hard it is to be a mother and lover. It is totally exhausting to be one, much less both, 100% of the time. Don't get me wrong I know that some men out there understand but not all
  16. I love your viewpoint. My last boyfriend seemed to expect me to be ready as soon as my daughter went to sleep, which with her night terrors isn't possible. He would also try to get randy at 3 am... seriously my kid gets up at 6-7 am. He never started it and expected me to initiate every time.
  17. And it just keeps coming. East Texas is really getting it this year, just like last year.
  18. Good luck, just remember communication is key :-)
  19. It flickered here a couple of times too. But never totally went out. I am seriously worried about the potatoes though, their raised bed looks like a swimming pool lol
