OK - #1 NEVER have anal sex without lubrication!! No wonder it was so painful for you

You can really do a number on the anal canal without it, such as tearing the sensitive lining!

As far as positions go for anal sex - it's a matter of preference. If you're on top, you can control the insertion a little better, if he isn't one to get too excited and lift his hips up to enter you in haste.

Laying down in a 'spoon' position is good too - or from behind with you bent over in front of him. I personally like the latter two

Also, as a side note to your lack of lubrication for anal, NEVER go from anal to vaginal sex without him washing first, or try using a condom for anal. You can get an infection from the bacteria, and I'm certain that would not be pleasant! lol.

Bondagejunkie...never, ever, EVER have anal sex without lube! The anal canal has NO natural lubrication, and it could hurt you not just for a few days, but permanently if you try to have anal sex without lube!

I suggest either Astroglide or a silicone based lubricant for anal sex - these will last the longest and be your best bet for anal. I would NOT suggest a warming gel for anal - and water-based - like K-Y - breakdown too much.
