Members ReadyToMoveOn
well if you go to a quckie mart hotel it's cheap, but I'd hardly call the Four Seasons cheap, not the people in it. This is the mis interpretation which a message board creates from time to time...I did not intend to insinuate the Hotel per se was cheap....Never mind, its not as good when its broken down...Back to the topic at Hand...Personally, and I am only speaking on my own behalf, I havent watched anything pornographic in years. Does it make me part of a small percentage of Men who are not addicted to Porn, I dont know.I do find the pics posted within the "Image Wars" thread to be sexy however. Somewhat ironic, No ??? Members Marriage Bed Reviews
Let me first say that I have not read this article. I have read others and I have talked with friends who have been or are fighting addiction to porn. Speaking as a guy, I can say that it is totally within the realm of possibility to masturbate for stress, because you are on a trip or your SO is on a trip and not look at porn or have thought to another woman. For me it is a thing of keeping my mind always on her and that strengthens our relationship. Your mind is a muscle like anything else. I choose to train mine to always have my wife as the person that excites me, not someone that I'll never be with or don't want to be with. I want a long lasting deep relationship with my wife and by training my mind to always view her as my sexual release I accomplish part of that goal. Men sayin that they NEED porn is a cop out for them to look other places than their SO. I have definitely at times felt what I thought was a need for that when we had trouble in intimacy. In the end we both needed to just get some things clear and have some healing from old wounds. Also, if you start to really dig into the behind the scenes of porn you'll find that it is a massive drive for sex slavery and a huge drive toward underage prostitution and gearing minds to head into hat zone because over years and years and years of constant watching you'll need a larger high. I have seen this affect people I know from decades of being addicted. I realize my view is not everyone's and not many people know and most don't want to know about slavery, so that is my opinion on a subject that is highly loaded to cause arguments if not handled with care. I in no way aim to offend anyone, I'm just offering my opinion as a late 20's male that's been married for over 10 years to my wife. We're also new here and glad to be a part. PS I realize women watch porn as well and both men and women to get turned on by it and not everyone is addicted to it. My challenge is simply this, try to see if you can't gain deeper relationship through making your SO your soul focus, emotionally, physically, and mentally. It's isn't for everyone because not everyone is seeking that level of relationship with their SO at the moment but that is my wife's and my goal. Members michelleddd
Congrats on wanting/striving for the best marriage you can attain, I think it's wonderful! And while I agree that porn is like many things that people can become addicted to which in turn decreases intimacy in a marriage that of course is just a portion of a whole. My partner and I enjoy occasional porn, alone and together and it's not an issue or problem for us. I believe each couple has to hammer out details like porn to the satisfaction of both involved. What works for me not work for you.

I was speaking about sexually because we were talking about porn but yes at any time of the day as well!
Members Frank82
I would not say I am addicted to porn. I do watch at times and some times go a few months with out watching it. My wife and I watch it together some times but not often.
Members Marriage Bed Reviews
My biggest thing with it is that it is so big in pushing slavery. I've seen women, men and children from babies on up be rescued from that terrible trade and a very large part of porn comes because of that demand. And the path it can lead when watched on a daily bases for years. I just saw someone I know loose pretty much everything because he let himself get carried away into illegal genres. This children have no choice, they don't decide to do that. Sadly the subject and the things they do make people so sick when they hear that they no longer want to hear and it flys under the radar. That being said, please don't anyone feel like I'm judging, definitely not!! Just talking about the other side of the coin and the implications of the demand for it. Tyger
Where there is issues with porn, the same can be said of almost anything. Sweat shops, sex workers, even fashion models. There are always dark areas of many venues of entertainment. However, that's really not what the article is about. Have I known people that are addicted to porn? Oh yes. I've also known (and know) people addicted to drugs, alcohol, energy drinks, junk food, and other unhealthy things. My ex husband was addicted to his XBox 360, totally ignoring me, and living in his world of online strategies and blowing things up. But, with all of these things, many of these things are ok, when done in moderation. I am one of those women that enjoy watching adult films. I only like legal aged stuff, some fantasy, girl on girl, and some light bondage (no rape scenes). I like watching it as an addition to our sex life. Sometimes just the sounds of someone having sex turns us on. Do we need it to make love? NO. But it's fun. I think that a lot of people that get addicted to porn may be getting their "high" from the fantasy and the lack of commitment of their orgasms via porn. The adrenaline rush they get from doing something taboo, and unconventional is more exciting than regular sex. Or, it fulfills some need that they're not getting in another part of their lives. As far as porn goes, no, I don't think that it's a bad thing in general.
Members Marriage Bed Reviews
Well written Tyger. Yes we do have so many thing around that people go over board on. Each person has something they are drawn to I would say.
Tyger
Thank you. I agree. I think everyone is drawn to one thing, and has their own "hobbies/collections". However, there's a line between those and being addicted to it.
