When I read the DVD description and it said "Not for the faint of heart," my interest was piqued. I was expecting some very exciting sexual scenes--it did win the industry's equivalent of a Best Picture Oscar back in 2005, after all.

However, "exciting sexual scenes" is not the right phrase, unless you like your adult DVDs with shots of people eating bloody human hearts, zombies, and scenes bordering on necrophilia. Thought it is original, something I always look for, it may have been a little too weird and creepy for me. It had a bit of a ClockWork Orange or some sort of Charlie Manson feel to it.

There is an attempt at a plot, but it's quite haphazard, which may be the point because our blonde star is supposed to be mentally disturbed and everything is from her perspective. Speaking of Jenna, if you're a big fan of her, you would probably like this movie. Most of her scenes are solo, in which she's just writhing around, playing with herself, and deliberately toying with the camera. Also, every scene has an older man in a skimpy schoolgirl outfit riding around in a tricycle and either masturbating or watching the couple. Yes, you read that correctly.

For me, this movie was just too weird and creepy to be erotic, sensual, or stimulating. It is interesting to see a different type of adult movie, and you can tell a lot of time and effort was put into the quality of the lighting, editing, and special effects. If it weren't for the hardcore sex scenes, this might come across as an eccentric art film. It might just be worth seeing for that, but if you want some erotica, you'll be fast forwarding often.

I agree with the previous reviewer on a lot of the points. I was hesitant with my original review thinking maybe I was being unfair (I don't watch that much porn) so I watched the film with a few people. I watched it with my partner and he agreed. It's a very weird movie. I had a hard time wrapping my head around the point of it, and I didn't find the visuals arousing at all.

This movie was too morbid for my taste. And I found a lot of the male cast quite unattractive and also weird, and overall, although there were a few cool scenes, the distractions left me sometimes in disgust. Bella is gorgeous and the visuals are higher end but the attempt at making this porn flick "artsy" just left us disappointed. We did have fun mocking the movie, but, it wasn't something that left either of us aroused. I wanted to get an opinion from a gal friend of mine who, like us, is a heavy kink player and into a lot of the alternative sex. I wanted to get as many opinions as possible to be fair to the many possible viewers I could find in my circle. Although we watched the film with intrigue we had a hard time getting ourself hot and bothered.

HOWEVER, viewers who are into military scenes, PVC/vinyl wear and the idea of being brought back to life through sex might enjoy this movie. Other sub categories include if you enjoy midgets on bikes and light shows. The military scenes were visually VERY good and I would say Jenna did look hot in them, in her outfit and in the things that were done to her. The girl on girl action was pretty close up between Bella and Jenna so if graphic girl/girl oral sex is your thing there's a large chunk of that. And towards the end there's a really hot scene between Bella and this guy. Bella is gorgeous (as is Jenna but I prefer the tattoos on Bella). Overall I guess it depends on your tastes, but if you're looking for something mainstream then this movie likely isn't your thing. If you're into various fetishes and such, then maybe.

This doesn't sound erotic to me, but it does sound fascinating to watch... the sort of campy, weird, pop-culture oddity one simply has to have.
